Zach's Birthday

Kabree and Daddy

The birthday boy!

Our little family

Zach turned the big 27! Kabree and I woke up this morning and made him his favorite tapioca then sent him off with Gary and Skylar to go water skiing. Thanks Sky for the picture. Then we got to have Gary, Sally and Heather and the kids over for cake (his favorite, fun fetti with rainbow chip frosting) and ice cream. Which we got some super cute pics of Kabree with Grandpa and Grandma but we will post those later so this post is all about Zach. We hope Zach had a great birthday because he defiantly deserves it.
Here is a list of what I love about Zach
-He is a very hard worker
-He's good at everything he tries (seriously anything)
-He can fix anything, house, cars you name it
-He always mows the lawn (I hate mowing the lawn)
-I love his laugh, it's contagious
-I love how he tells a funny story
-I love his arms, yes my hubby is buff
(not kidding he gets in better shape every year I swear)
-I love his facial hair (that ones for my family)
-He has the best smile
-He can change a poopy diaper
-He will bath Kabree if I ask him to
-You can see how much he loves Kabree just by how he looks at her
-He spends time with my family
-He does things with my nieces and nephews
(hunting, disc golf, hiking...)
-He's a saver not a spender
-I love that he loves the outdoors
-Most of all I love that he loves me too and that he is my very best friend
I love Zach so much and I'm so grateful for that I could have such a great guy for a husband.

Baby Horses

I love how they scratch each others backs

They love attention

You can tell my Dad's horses are really scared

Morgan and Zach
Best Buddies, Zach loves this little guy!

I love driving through my parents pasture this time of year and seeing all the mares with their babies. I took so many pictures but I decided to spare you and only post a few. But they are always so cute and when it comes to my Dad's horses very friendly. Most of the mares want you to give them some loves but the colts are still a little shy. I also love that when we go to look at the horses Morgan likes to walk with us and hold Zach's hand. I love that kid so stinking much, he is such a cute little cowboy. Can you believe Jessica got him in shorts and FLIPFLOPS! Usually this kid only wears jeans and cowboy boots, he won't even wear running pants.

So Much To Share!

First off Kabree hit 3 months this week, it is so fun watching her grow and change. It's kind of sad at the same time though, I realize she has gotten so big in such a little time. We love her so much and are anxiously awaiting court to make it official in all eyes!
We went to a friends for a BBQ a few weeks ago and they got out their exer-saucer and let Kabree sit in it. Well she loved it, she is still pretty little for it but she loves staring at all the fun toys. We went to visit Caleb last week and one of his neighbors was having a garage sale and had one for $15, there was no way we were passing that deal up especially since it's hardly been used at all. Kabree loves it! So thanks Katy for letting us test out yours first to see if she liked it before we got one!

She cannot really grab the toys yet,
but she's working on it

We went to Twin Falls this weekend to visit Troy and Wendy. It was HOT!! Holly cow Twin is always a lot hotter then our house but it was 104 this weekend. I know 104 isn't that bad but to leave our house at 84 on Friday and get to theirs and have it that hot, yikes!! Of coarse we had to go visit Whitney at work for some snow cones. Well as always my brother has to test me and I turn around and he was giving Kabree a taste of his snow cone. It was pretty dang cute, she pulled a bit of a funny face at Troy but then she just stared at Zach's like hey aren't you going to share now too. We got a cup of just ice and she loved it. It was so hot she would fuss and I would put a little shaved ice in her mouth and she would gum it up and smile!!

She wasn't sure what she thought

Now she's like
"yum, that's good stuff!"

"So, Dad when are you going to share?"

After our yummy snow cones to cool us off we headed out to the falls. I went up to Twin with Mom, Grandma and Heather the end of June and WOW!! The water was really full and it was amazing, but of coarse I didn't bring my camera that trip. Well I came back and told Zach about it and he was jealous so we had to take him this trip. It's still beautiful and I love going but it's not even close to as high as it was then.

Almost There!

We had our last home study done last week!! LDS Family Service sent one of their caseworkers and interns to our house last week to make sure it was still safe and to ask us questions about Kabree. It went really well and we enjoyed talking with the new guys. I will be honest Zach and I are so bad we don't remember which one is the new caseworker and which one is the new intern??? FYI they weren't the case workers we or Spencer and Keri have been working with the last few months; just so you don't think I'm that bad. We talked with both our Bishop and our Stake President and only a few more things of paperwork to go; our living ordinance papers and our papers from our doctor saying Kabree is current with check ups and is a healthy baby girl. We are so excited to be just a few weeks away from being official!!

I cannot believe in just a few weeks we will be going to court, the temple and having a baby blessing, it will be so crazy but we cannot wait!!!

4th of July

Kabree wasn't sure what she thought of a hat

Heather let me paint flags on her toes too

Zach had to work 4th of July weekend so I went out to my parents house for our family party and Zach came out later Saturday after getting off work. We had a pretty layed back 4th, my parents and sis in-law Jessica watched Kabree for us so we could drive through my parents horses to see all the cute little babies. When we got back we roasted marshmellows at my brother Larin's house and then we did fireworks at my parents.

Family Party!

Every year my siblings and I have a family party, that's right "family party" not a reunion (a little inside joke there), anyways we have a party at my parents house. We usually set up campers and tents on Larin's lawn and have a bonfire and everything. It's our way of getting my workaholic brothers and Dad to go "camping" with the rest of us. Well this year the weather had different plans for us but we still had a good time.

Zach found the cutest little swimsuits for Kabree at the dollar store and then had my ever so talented Mom alter it to fit her. We think she looks pretty dang cute in her little swimsuit. However, my Dad spent the next 30 minutes telling me 50 spf didn't mean I should let my paler then pale baby out in the direct sun. My Dad has such a soft spot for his grandkids that they wanted to swim in the horse trough but didn't want cold water, so my Dad heated the water for them so they could swim in warm water (talk about spoiled). The kids loved it though and spent several hours in the pool.

We did get to have our hotdogs on the grill but about the time we were supposed to start setting up tents the clouds opened and poured for about 10 minutes, but man did it pour down hard. So we bagged the smores and tents and watched movies on Dad and Moms big screen and camped out in their house. Adults took the beds and kids took the floor. I think the kids were a bit disappointed on not camping out but still had a good time!

I didn't get a very good picture to show just how much water there was. The crazy thing is that on Friday I thought that Arbon got a ton of water until Zach and I drove home on Saturday night and at 12:30 a.m. couldn't get to our house because the roads were blocked off. It rained and hailed so bad in our neighborhood the roads were taped off until the next morning, peoples houses were flooded and everyones yards were destroyed. We were very lucky and only a little water get in our basement but hardly any at all, our yard makes me want to cry though. Our flowers looked so good on Tuesday my Mom even told me I needed to take a picture of them. Well now they look like someone took a weed wacker to them and cut all the heads off and smashed them into the ground.

Silly Girl!

Hanna's newest pose

I was going through my pictures for the month of June and noticed a pattern, Hanna's tongue! Silly little girl, we just love her so much! She has been such a good cousin to Kabree and is taking the adjustment to having our undivided attention all day to sharing it with Kabree very well. She cracks us up, one day a couple weeks after we brought Kabree home she asked me "who's Kabree's mom" I answered "I am" she says "noooo, who's Kabree's mom?" I answer "me, Hanna I'm Kabree's mommy" she then informs me a little irritated "no, you're the babysitter not the mom" Trust me it takes a lot to persuade a 3 year old that you are right once they have their mind set on something. It might be interesting to see what she thinks in a few weeks when her mommy brings home a new little baby!?
