Fishing

Zach took a couple quick trips to go Bass fishing and was pretty excited with his success!

"Sing, Sing, Sing..."

Since we didn't get to do swimming lessons, don't have a fun family trip planned or really anything exciting planned this summer due to COVID we decided to sign the girls up for a Show Choir coarse via Zoom.  They loved it, the teacher was amazing and it made the girls feel like they got to do something new this summer!

The End Of The Year

With COVID the girls didn't get a real good bye to teachers or friends.  Now that Idaho has hit phase 4 for reopening the Arbon School Board did a Kindergarten, 6th grade graduation and celebrated Mrs. Claunchs' retirement party.  It was short, sweet and nice to have some closure to all of this craziness!

Celebrating Kooper

I was so sad we wouldn't be able to support Kooper in person for his graduations this year.  I'm so grateful that with modern technology we were at least able to cheer him on from home!  We got to watch both his High School graduation and his Seminary graduation.  The girls thought it was pretty great bc they could chill in their comfy clothes.  Even though we know he couldn't hear us we cheered loud anyways and are so proud of Kooper and the amazing man he is!  We love you Koop!

Kick Off To Summer

With Kabree's broken arm and COVID-19 we have been trying to find activities to help Kab's stay good ;).  So we kicked off our first couple weeks of summer with lots of crafts and baking!  We painted some rocks, painted the sidewalk (Mattie came and joined the girls for that one), we baked friendship bread (both girls think it's the best thing ever and want to keep doing it), baked banana bread, cooked lots of lunches and had a couple movie days.

Turnout

Well once again because of a broken arm Kabree was feeling blue about turnout.  Grandpa Vance told the girls he would take them for an adventure for the day, they would follow the cows or a bit and then he would take them for a picnic and to pick some wild flowers.  It ended up being a LONG day but the girls had so much fun.  We saw deer, a wolf (my first time seeing one in the wild in real life), picked lots of wild flowers and got be a little bit part of turnout.  The girls were excited to walk with Jessica for a bit. Then naughty uncle Larin gave them a ride on the 4-wheeler the last stretch.  I had told them they couldn't ride with Wyatt on the 4-wheeler because I didn't think it was a good idea in the mountains with 3 kids (and Kabree's broken arm).  Anyways, when Larin told them to jump on with him they both told him there Mom would kill them so no way would they get on, he told them he could run faster than me so it was ok ;). That was literally their favorite part of the day...Larin telling them he wasn't scared of their mom lol.
Kooper let Zach ride Chief which Zach thought was fantastic.  He let the girls each have little ride (again we were nervous to let Kab actually ride bc of her arm).
