Snow Day

We headed out to Arbon to help Grandpa Vance with year end.  Zach and I decided to get a puppy-sitter and head out Friday night.  Then we decided we should just stay up late and do all of the year end Friday so we could just play Saturday.  Saturday it took some convincing but we rounded up a crew to come play in the snow with us!  We had a blast!!!!  Some of my favorite memories are sledding on the Knole.  I was so excited for my kids to have a small taste of the fun I had growing up.  Have a mentioned lately how awesome my nieces and nephews are?  They are pretty great and were all so willing to take a turn going down the hill with the girls or helping put gloves back on.  My girls always get the V.I.P. treatment when we go to Arbon.  I must admit they spoil me too!  Grandpa went up and down the hill a few times in their can-am to pack the snow, so our hill was perfect!!!  We had so much fun, my voice hurt from all the yelling and laughing!!!!

We sure love our Eric for taking us as far as he could

I have to say that Eric was such a sweetheart!  He did not want to go sledding but he was willing to drive us as far as he could in his Rodeo and then he sat there for a hour while we sledded so that he could give my girls a ride home!!!  It was snowing, a bit foggy and pretty cold so it was super sweet of him to do that so that my poor (crying by the end) Kiki didn't have to ride the snowmobile home.

I sure love this Dad of mine

This is why Keagan got cold, she thought it was great to roll around in the snow!!!

Kabree LOVES her cousin Mattie and is always in Heaven when she gets to spend time with her!

Ringing In The New Year

This year we rang in the New Year a bit different than usual.  We decided to keep it low key and have a little party at home.  The girls wanted to invite Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sally over to join in the fun.  We had lots of finger and junk food!  The girls loved that we played ALL of their favorite games and then ended the night with a New Years toast, party blowers and confetti!
