Here We Go Again

It's hard to believe it's time for another school year already!  The girls have been home for just over 5 months and it's hard to let them go but they are excited!  First day of 6th grade for Kabree and first day of 3rd grade for Keagan.  Keagan also gets a new teacher this year, Mrs. Melanie Williams.  We are so excited to have Mrs. Williams and the girls are so happy to be back in regular school with their friends!  They do have to wear masks on the bus and have assigned seats on the bus but they don't mind one bit as long as they get to try going back to regular school!  So here's to thinking positive and staying healthy this school year!

Kooper's Farewell

Yes we know they don't call it a farewell anymore but we still do ;).  Kooper did an amazing job speaking and we are so grateful our girls have him to look up to!  He is going to be a great missionary!

More Boating Fun

We have been trying to plan a get together with the Westons for months and things kept coming up (work COVID exposure lol) so we finally got to hang out and decided since we had the boat to go boating.  With in the first 20 minutes of being on the water our phones started dinging tornado warnings and we brushed it off because it was nice where we were, the storm did get a bit rough for a hot minute that we did have to get close to a shore and wait it out for a bit.  But luckily for us it passed quickly and the rest of the night was beautiful!  Shawn let us borrow his kid skies and Kabree popped right up first try!!

American Falls

Gary and Sally let us borrow their boat for a week.  Heather joined us for a day out at American Falls.  It was so much fun!  I love the sandy beach and that you have plenty of room (it does have choppy water which makes for great tubing but not so great water skiing).  We had such a great day we didn't take many pictures!  The kids loved playing in the sand, swiming, tubing and they even tried water skiing!  They all did great but the darn skies were just too big for them!  We did end the day towing a family back to the dock, which Keagan thought was the best thing ever because we listened to the radio and she got to control it the whole way back ;),

Twin Lakes

Eric and Alyssa invited everyone to Twin Lakes for the day; Shawn's birthday.  They rented a camp spot and Shawn brought his boat. Larin brought his kayaks and Heather and us brought our paddle boards.  It was so fun to see everyone and the kids had so much fun playing in the water!  Shawn took the girls on the boat and took them a round tubing and even helped Kabree try surfing!!  She was so excited and said she loved it!!!
