Kabree's Cheer Photos

Kabree is doing great with her first year doing high school cheer.  They got their pictures done and they turned out great!

Greece

For school Keagan got to make a map out of salt dough of Greece.  She was so excited to bring it home and show everyone!

On A Roll

The horses escaped from their corral (our horse included in the group) and Grandma JoAnn needed some help getting them back in. So Zach ran out to help.  He ended up running them in to the bottom pen and then into the wind break. As he was running to shut the gate he "rolled" his ankle. He got up to run again and immediately fell back down. He looked down at his ankle and it was stuck "rolled" in at a 45 degree angle. He decided that is was best to pop it back into place to finish getting the horses in and gates shut. The next day he couldn't walk so we went into the doctor. His ankle had been dislocated but after x-rays and no bones broken he was sent to a specialist and MRI. Their verdict was torn ligaments and tendons on both sides of the foot and bone bruising, so no weight on the foot for three weeks, and hope it starts to heal.

Kiki's Garden Soup

Keagan worked hard all summer on her garden and learned a lot about gardening this year.  She was very excited to enjoy the fruits of her labor and made us "Garden Soup." She picked the veggies from her garden, washed them, chopped them and boiled them up in chicken broth for us all to enjoy with her homemade bread that she made.

Shay and Davis's Wedding

It was a beautiful, bittersweet couple days getting to celebrate Davis and Shay.  Everything turned out beautiful and we are so happy for the two of them!  We are so excited for them to start their new adventure together and for Davis to be part of our family!
