We spent Easter in Arbon this year so Kabree could be with all of her cousins.  Don't worry the Easter bunny found everyone!  Kabree loved her horse and bracelets the Easter bunny gave her and she thought going to church with all of her cousins was pretty fun.  We had a great Easter spending lots of time with family and Kabree loved every minute of it with her cousins.

On Saturday we had a family Easter party, it was the perfect day for the first outside picnic of the year and an Easter egg hunt.  Zach grilled everyone up some hot dogs and there were lots of yummy salads and treats.  Before the party started Cayleb ran in to tell us that we needed to hurry outside and see the new baby.  While Dad, Troy and all the grandkids were sorting horses a mare laid down and had a colt.  The kids were so excited to get to watch and  to see the brand new baby.  Kabree did not understand why she couldn't just walk right up and pet it : ).
After dinner Heather did a HUGE Easter egg hunt, she had an egg hiding team to help her hide over 400 eggs.  Also take into account the large area the hunt covered.  The eggs ranged from super easy for the little ones to super hard for the older ones.  There were eggs hidden up in trees, on top of trucks, half buried in the ground, you name it.  The kids had a BLAST!  There were 2 golden eggs hidden for special prizes of HUGE chocolate bunnies.  Tiffany and Chase found those, but shared their bunnies with everyone.  Kabree was pretty excited for the eggs, she didn't get it 100% but she knew she wanted to run for them and throw them in her basket.
It was so fun to see everyone and for the kids to get to run around and play together.  We are so glad Heather did her Easter party this year, we had a ton of fun!

Dying Eater Eggs

Hanna and Jessi
Kabree didn't know what she thought
about her hands being dyed
Kabree concentrated very hard,
she wanted her eggs to look just right!
They loved the dye
Hanna, working away

Zach got home early on Friday so I decided since he was there to help we were going to color some eggs.  We first tried coloring warm eggs with crayons, which Hanna and I loved but Justice and Kabree just looked confused : ). First of all the second I handed Justice his egg he threw it on the floor and laughed, then I gave it back to him and he knocked it on the table several times.  So I figured he was trying to tell me he was not interested but when we got out the dye sticks he jumped alive.  Kabree and Justice thought the dye sticks were pretty neat.  They would switch their colors back and forth and concentrate while coloring with them.  They however, did not like that fact that they got dye on their hands : ).  Then we went on to the good old traditional dying of eggs in the cups.  This was ten times the mess than the sticks, I had no idea the second I handed them their eggs they would throw their eggs in, yes throw them in and laugh as it splashes.  Then I had no clue they would try to drink the dye.  It was way crazier then I had anticipated but it was a blast.  The kids were concentrating so hard on decorating their eggs, it was sweet.  They were so funny and all laughs and smiles.
