Valentine's Day

So this year the stars aligned in this Momma's favor and both girls made their Valentine pouches at school!!!  Also by some miracle; without any coaxing from Mom, the girls picked the same Valentine this year!!!!  Woot, woot, and it was cute and easy peasy!

Valentine's Day
Zach once again spoiled his girls with buying them chocolates, Kabree loves York Peppermint Patties and Keagan is a M&M girl.  So this year Keagan actually got 2 Valentine parties, one on Monday with Ms. Cori's class and one on Tuesday with Ms. Tracey's class.  She LOVED both parties and had a blast!  Kabree loved her's too!  Hanna and Justice came over after school and Hanna shared her extra donuts from her party with everyone.  Then the kids each took a turn showing everyone their Valentine's.

Insert crying face here :( Mom was in a hurry and didn't check the settings on the camera and just snapped the pic, tossed the camera on the bed and ran out the door to school.  But even though it's dark you can still see how cute these little love bugs looked!

Zach won me over by getting me Red Lobster to go, mmmm nothing wins me over like coconut shrimp.  I'm so grateful I have the kindest husband, 2 cutest girls and the best fur puppy to celebrate Valentine's day with!

January Blues

Snow, snow and more snow is pretty much what there is to say about January.  We are literally buried in it!  We had 4 snow days, ok to be honest we loved the snow days because my girls loved playing with their new games and toys from Christmas!!!  We went 6 weeks without a full week of school!!!  So you can imagine how hard week our 7 has been actually going a 5 day school week!!!  A long with all of the snow and the shoveling and more shoveling, oh yea and more shoveling, we had another broke down vehicle and I'm pretty sure the plague hit our house!  Keagan as always got the worst of it and we even took her to the doctor to run a bunch of tests to make sure something more serious wasn't going on.  Tests showed she did have a nasty viral infection and that perhaps more ALLERGIES (insert crying here because as if the food allergies our kids already have aren't a pain in the behind).  So for now Keagan is on the BRAT diet and after a solid week of that we will slowly introduce other foods, seriously we are praying this is not an issue and that Keagan just got hit really hard with the virus.  So to add to the joys of January both Zach and I had big decisions to make in the job fronts.  Ugh nothing is more stressful than job decisions!  So even though we had lots of fun snuggling and playing together and lots of fun playing in all of this snow, January went down in the books as a big fat pile of blah in our books! So here's hoping that February kicks January's behind in the kisser!

Pucker Up Baby

I decided to brighten up my winter time blues by becoming a Lipsense Distributor!  Zach actually really likes lipstick and I have never been a huge lipstick wearer until now!  How can you not love something that lasts literally all day!  I have also been trying out their other product like mascara and eye shadow too!  I won't lie it has been pretty fun wearing a different color everyday and sharing selfies with my fellow Lipsense lovers.

With all this new make up around the girls have been playing with their make up more too, thankfully theirs isn't lipsense and it comes off easy ;)

Reunited and it feels so good

She's back!!!  Oh how I have missed my Loxie.....we are reunited and it feels so good.  I'm so over dying my hair and so Ashlie and I hit the saloon for 6 hours and got my Loxie and my ends back to my natural color.

Finn The Blue Dane

Our friends and fellow Dane owners sold their house and are currently living in his parents house while they wait to break ground on their new house.  They felt like it just wasn't fair to Finn to be cramped up and asked if we would want to have him.  We of coarse loving Danes and Finn so we said lets give it a try and had them bring him over.  Finn is HUGE, he is only 13 months old and already dwarfs Cleo!  He is a sweetheart and desperately wants to be loves to be loved.  He wanted to play or snuggle on the pillow....anything, he just wanted a friend and Cleo......well Cleo HATED him!  She was throwing up, cowering in the corner shaking.  Let be known he was a good boy but Cleo up until this point had only met him when he was under a year and still her equal size.  Now that he makes her look like a runt she was scared to death of him!!!!  We tried it for a few more days to see if Cleo would every relax but she just wouldn't have it.  We felt awful and wish it could have worked out but sadly we just couldn't do that to Cleo.

Seriously he is massive

Farewell To Basketball

We wrapped up our basketball season in January.  Kabree loved playing and loved having Zach be her coach.  It was a great experience and will probably happen again.  It was so much fun to have Kabree remake friends with a couple of the girls on her team and to have Kabree and Justice play a sport together again!

Fun In The Snow

We actually have enjoyed lots of fun in the snow this month, lots at Heathers, some in our yard, some in Arbon, we have had so much fun, taking pictures went out the window most of the time. Here are just a few of our snowy adventures.
Sledding with Grandpa Gary
Gary invited us over to go sledding at the golf coarse by his house with Wade and Lynden.  The girls had a blast and proved once again they might be girls but they are die hard dare devils.

On your mark, get set, go!!!!
 Zach won
 Lynden and Kabree
 Dog pile on Zach
 Down the hill they go

More sledding at Matt & Heather's and building a snowman
Heather text me one Saturday morning and I didn't answer right away so she started texting me "Do you want to build a snowman" lyrics...literally each line was a new text lol.  Well I did want to build a snowman so we headed over to play in the snow for a bit and well, build a snowman, correction a snowwoman!
