Keagan's Barbie Pumpkin

Putting the finishing touches on her pumpkin

Kabree's vampire pumpkin

We finally got to carving our pumpkins and the girls were thrilled!  Keagan is completely obsessed with pumpkins so we weren't at all surprised how excited she was during the entire process!  She even thought scooping the guts out was pretty great!  Kabree thinks carving pumpkins is fun too...but not so much the scrapping the guts out!  We told the girls they could pick what ever they wanted and we would find a picture on the computer to use.  Surprise, surprise Keagan picked Barbie!  Kabree decided she wanted something scary so she decided to do a vampire this year.  Both girls were super excited about how their pumpkins turned out and can't wait for everyone to see them Halloween night!!

Trunk-or-Treat

Our cute little Witch and Giraffe

Keagan, Justice, Hanna and Kabree

We attended our Wards Trunk-Or-Treat and invited Heather, Hanna and Justice along.  We had yummy chili and corn bread and then the Trunk-Or-Treat.  The kids thought it was great to see everyone in costume and of coarse they LOVED the getting the candy part!

Kabree's Dance Halloween Party

Kabree the Cheetah

Kabree was very excited to be able to dress up for dance this week but she was a little worried about wearing her witch costume and getting too hot.  She was so excited when we were at Wal-Mart and I told her she could get some ears and a tail to wear!  She knew exactly what she wanted and couldn't wait to go to dance!!

Canned Food Drive

 Lynden and her butterfly
 Hanna and her cat
 Keagan and her lady bug
 Kabree and her ghost

Kabree's primary teachers work was hosting a canned food drive and they offered face painting, cookies, juice and the kids got to decorate bags for Trick-Or-Treating.  Kabree, Keagan and I recruited Hanna and Lynden to join us in the fun!  The girls all had a blast but sadly 1 Mommy with 4 little girls these are all the pictures I was able to get ; ).  We were so glad we could help in a great cause and have a little fun at the same time!!

The Golden Pumpkin Patch

Still searching for the Golden Pumpkin
We sure love all our pumpkins!!!

So I think it's safe to say we have an addiction...visiting pumpkin patches!  Our girls are completely and totally obsessed!  So when some friends of ours were telling us about The Golden Pumpkin Patch as I looked over at Kabree's face I knew there was no getting out of going.   We snagged Hanna and Justice along for the adventure.  The kids were so excited there was a hay bale maze and immediately took off to solve it!  The kids were so amazed at the wide variety of pumpkins they had; I LOVED the sage green ones!!!  The kids had a ball searching for the Golden Pumpkin and were a little disappointed we never found it but they said they still had fun and loved their "huge" pumpkins they got!  So it's safe to say we got our fill of pumpkin patches this year, each having their own special things to offer.  We had a blast visiting all of them and the girls already have plans for next year!!!

Working Girls

Keagan & Kabree working hard in the yard
Picking up all the rocks from the old flower bed

You had to know with this family this would end up happening

It's been a summer for yard work for this family!  We have hauled rocks, moved stones, taken down trees and the list goes on and on.  I couldn't tell you my favorite job because they have all made huge improvements to our yard!  We finally got around to getting our front flower bed all the way out and finished taking out the rocks this weekend so we could plant the grass!!  The girls were a big help with their buckets and definitely hauled their weight in rocks!  Of coarse with this crazy/wild family you had to know a dirt fight would eventually break out!  Keagan decided that while Mommy was on her hands and knees digging she needed to put a bucket of dirt in Mommys hair, of coarse this Mommy had to throw a little dirt back thus beginning the dirt fight!  The girls would have went on all night but we did need to get the seed planted.  Mommy was able to bribe them with a bubble bath so it all ended well!  We are so excited for next Spring to see and enjoy all of our hard work from this Summer!
