Our happy little girl!

What makes our lives all worth while

Kabree loves her swing

Kabree and Ethan
She loves her cousins and all the attention they give her

She loves to bath and is all smiles the whole time

Add ImageKabree is growing so fast! She smiles all the time now and like all girls loves to talk. I love how alert she is and how she is so fasinated by the world. On the flip side naps are rare and far between. That's okay by me as long as she is my happy baby. She loves to sit up and to stand on her fit, both with help of coarse. She loves it when her cousins talk to her and hold her she grins the whole time. Bedtime is my favorite time, Kabree loves bathing and smiles and coos the whole time. Then I lotion her up, put her in her pjs and feed her, the whole time she smiles. But my favorite part is after she eats we cuddle and she goes right to sleep for the night. We can actually lay her in her crib awake at 9 p.m. and she will fall asleep on her own, it's great and actually we hardly ever do it that way because we both love cuddling her but still it's nice to know we could. We still have a hard time at night getting her to go back to sleep when she wakes up but it's getting fewer times so there is hope in the future in that area. Kabree is still fussy in the afternoons but we started medicine this week for her tummy so hopefully that will help. Honestly we are loving being parents and I cannot explain how my heart melts every morning when I lean over her crib to get her out and she gives me the biggest grin, I love every minute of it!

Almost Official!

Two weeks ago we found out that LDS Family Servivces has changed it's adoption policies on finalization. Family Services now follows each states guidlines. What this means is before all adoptive couples no matter what state had to wait six months for finalization. But now we just have to follow Idahos adoption laws. The state of Idaho as long as there were no health issues at birth with the baby finalization is as soon as your lawyer gets you into court! We met with our lawyer Wednesday, we have a court date, filled out all the paper work and have been preped for court. Court is a little more involved then I had origianlly realized but we are still very excited and cannot wait to be official! Once we are offical our lawyer said we could have our baby sealed as soon as that afternoon if we wanted!

Last weekend was the Jones Family Reunion. It was pouring rain but luckily we had a pavilion
and were able to still enjoy the day. My mom and two aunt Lauries made stick horses for all of the kids out of swim noodles and then did an obstacle coarse for the kids. I think it was a hit and the kids loved the cute horses they got to take home. They also got to do a fishing pond where they got lots of fun toys and balloons, which of coarse the kids loved. It was great to see almost all the cousins, I feel bad because this is really all the pictures I took, I need to start taking more. But I do have to say thank you to my cousin Scott, his wife Jamie and Grandpa Elmer who took Kabree for us so we could eat lunch and visit with all the cousins. I was a little worried about the cold so she never saw the light of day, I kept her pretty bundled up and I was very lucky to have a great family who snuggled her for me so I could venture out in the rain to watch the obstacle coarse.

Our Baby Is Two Months Old

Our little Kabree is getting so big! We had our two month check up and Kabree is up to 9lbs 7oz and 22 inches long. I feel like she has already gotten so big and is changing so much. I love it but it makes me sad too. Kabree is smiling and cooing all the time now, she is still not much of a sleeper but we are still hopeful that will someday change. However, she does go to bed between 9-9:30 and sleeps until 2 a.m. but then she won't go back to sleep until 3-3:30 and then is up for the day by 5 a.m. so that kind of stinks but at least I get a few hours straight. Kabree holds her head up so good, she has since she was born but now she can raise it up and look around when we lay her on her tummy. We are loving every minute we have with our little Kabree and swear the last two months have flown by but yet we cannot remember what life was like without her.

Odds and Ends

Kabree loves to stare at you when you feed her
it's one of my favorite things!

Kabree loves cooing to Grandpa

My Dad and Mom called and suprised me yesterday by stopping by. It was great to get to talk with them and to have them help bath and get Kabree to bed.

She's cute even when she doesn't feel good

My friend Rachel is letting me borrow her baby backpack and Kabree loves it. She snuggles down in and falls right asleep. I must admit I love it too because now I can get things done and Kabree is happy. So thanks Rachel!

What's Going On With Us

I got a fun surprise on Thursday, my cousin Amy called me and said she was on her way through town headed to her parents and wanted to stop by. Heather came over, because we can never do anything with out each other and we were able to visit for a while. Amy's kids have gotten so big and they are cuties, her little girld Sophie loved Kabree and loved on her bunches.

Heather shocked me on Friday, she called and said she had some books she wanted to drop off for me to read. Well, when I answered the door I was greeted by a boy I didn't recognize. Matt had taken the boys for hair cuts Friday and Chase came back a different boy. I swear he doesn't even look like the same kid. It was so funny, when I first saw him all I cold say was "Oh my ...(I had to cover my mouth before I said more)"

This next bit is not for the faint of heart or for those who are against hunting. My Dad and Zach took the boys out shooting, we thought just target practive. But Kooper came back beaming showing us his first troughy hunt.

What a Weekend

I'm very glad the lunch went well because this weekend was one of those ones you just say bring it on because what else could possible dump on it. Our microwave went out on Friday, which I know you can live with out one but it really sucks too, trust me you have no idea how much you use your microwave. Like to defrost meat for dinner or to melt butter for your cookies. However, we are very fortunate and Zach's awesome brother Caleb bought us a new, very nice, very big microwave. He said it was his present for Kabree, that way he will be the favorite uncle : )! So we are very grateful for that and excited to see all the things we can do with our new mini oven (I swear it's really that big). We woke up Saturday to get ready to head to Arbon when Zach realized our food in our fridge wasn't very cold, and nothing was frozen in our freezer. Our fridge is very old but still, luckily the food for the shower was all still cold enough or I really would have freaked. Then Sunday night Kabree started getting sick, which she still is today. Nothing life or death, but she just wants to be held, doesn't want to eat and cannot breath very well. Which means we don't sleep because we are too scared, she keeps choking and coughing. But still no fever so all we can do is cuddle and love her.

Yea, that's a 9X13 pan
