Eric's Graduation

Eric & Shawn

Vance, Eric, Shawn & JoAnn

Mason, Holli, Ethan, Eric, Shay and Shawn

Eric graduated this last week and we are all so proud of him! I'm so excited for him to be starting on his very bright future. He is one smart guy and I know he will do big things. I think we all about hit the floor when we heard the stupid song they sang (it was played at Lyndell's funeral). But it was just another reminder that she is always with us and watching all her beautiful kids through their lives. I know she is so proud of Eric and all that he accomplished in high school and how much it payed off for him. I guess I should mention Eric got a FULL RIDE scholarship plus a little extra for books, so ya we are pretty stinking proud of him! We love you Eric and CONGRATULATIONS!!

Zach and I got to go and watch some of our nieces and new nephews do their school talent show. They are a very talented bunch if I might say so myself. Some of them were a little shy but they still did a great job. I was a little suprised at how unshy a couple of them were ;). As you can see Arbon has a very small school so they got to do several talents. I thought they all did great and I'm very proud of all of them.

My family branded cows last weekend. Zach loves going, he enjoys all of it, the branding the roping everything. Lots of family comes plus a few friends. They usually get done pretty quick with all the help and then we head back to my parents for BBQ. My cousin Tiffany is a sweetheart and always lets Zach borrow her horse for the last half of the branding so he can do a little roping. Zach doesn't claim to be a cowboy at all but he is actually really good at it especially considering he has only done it at the last three brandings. I didn't get many pictures this year, but the kids had fun running around everywhere and drinking like 6 sodas each.

Missing You

Some might think I'm odd seven years later posting about today but today I'm very much missing my friend. Those who didn't know Jared well missed out on one amazing person. The words to that country song"...he's an angel with no halo and one wing in the fire..." couldn't state it any better. He was like my brother and one of my very best friends, and today seven years later I'm still missing him. So as Kevin always said "here's to you homie, this dews for you."
Goodbyes are not forever.

Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you
Until we meet again!in!

Happy Anniversary!

We were married 5 years ago today in the Logan, UT LDS temple. It was one of the happiest days of my life. It was one of those days that honestly words couldn't express the range of emotions, hope, excitement for the future and a sense of fulfillment. The last 5 years have been quit a roller coaster but I'm glad that I had Zach beside me for the ride. I love you Zachary and happy anniversary!

On Mother's day we got to spend the day with my Mom's family. My Mom's family is a family of GREAT cooks so our dinner was very yummy. The weather was perfect and we got to spend the whole afternoon outside. My aunt Lori brought frisbees, bubbles, kites and beach balls for the kids, they were a hit. Heathers little girl Hanna made best friends with our cousin Jamie's little girl Hayden. They were very cute to watch run around the farm. The weather was the perfect for flying kits, the kids had a blast. Matt spent hours helping the kids fly kites (I think he was having just as much fun as the kids ;). Zach enjoyed the kite fun as well, he wasn't the least bit embarrassed that he had the Disney princess kite. The adults also played some horse shoes but I didn't get any good pictures of them. It was so good to see everybody and we missed those who couldn't be there.

This last week Zach and I got to run over to Malad to go out to lunch with my Grandpa and Grandma Harrison. Kabree was very up to the task of performing for the whole Dude Ranch. She would squeal and wave to all the other costumers. When the waitress handed her, her ice cream cone I quickly intercepted and gave her a hand. She sobbed quit dramatically and made the whole place feel sorry for her. But once she realized they were all looking again she went back to waving and playing peek-a-boo. I think she wore my grandparents out. Grandpa just watched her in amazement as she danced, and bounced around from person to person.

Little Miss Kabree

Singing for Adrianne

Little Miss Kabree realized
she could dance right off the chair

My friend Adrianne did Kabree's 1year pictures and they turned out perfect. Out of 234 I loved 234 so only posting this many was very hard for me. In case you haven't noticed Adrianne is Kabree's own personal photographer and I pretty much make her photograph every event in her little life :)! I love pictures, hum I wonder who I got that from ;), any one who knows my family knows my Mom is a photo crazy lady just like me. I was so worried about any turning out because holy cow Kabree was a hand full and the more Adrianne laughed the more she performed. Kabree danced her little heart out most of the time, the problem with that is Kabree's dancing is wild and all over the place, she danced her little self right of the chair a couple times. Ad did such a good job I don't think you can even tell she was a wild little monkey during it but the ones you can tell just show her little personality. Thanks Ad as always I love them!
