National Infertility Awareness Week

This might seem like an odd thing for me to be posting but for anyone who has ever had to endure the uphill battle of infertility its not odd at all it's our life. If you or anyone you know is struggling with infertility I just want to say I know how it feels and the constant range of emotions that go with it.

The R House blog has and will be posting great information and stories this week so please check it out or share with a friend that might need the comfort. I love the Monday post, I think all friends and family of people struggling with infertility should read it. As if infertility isn't trial enough the things people say can make it even worse.

I'm very aware of infertility this next month as I have lucked out and that's the portion of classes I get to teach coming up in May. Wish me luck, I will say that sharing our adoption story was by far easier then this assignment : ).

Caleb and Sandra's Wedding

Caleb and Sandra coming out of the temple

Our little family at the temple

Sandra with her sisters, I thought this
was so stinking cute
The Temple

Caleb and Sandra got married in the Logan, UT LDS Temple last Friday. We are so happy for these two. Even though it was raining and we needed umbrellas it was still a beautiful day. I had to laugh because we are double related to these two so it made it kind of fun. Caleb is Zach's brother and Sandra's sister Jessica married my brother. It was fun to get to see all of Sandra and Jessica's family. They are so much fun and holy cow quick cleaner uppers. I remembered at Larin and Jessica's wedding them all chipping in and helping clean up and they defiantly did again. For those who know me know that that is one of my favorite qualities in a person :)!
Another pic of us at reception #2
my pics aren't in the right order : )

Reception #1
We love these two so much!

This is how Kabree felt by the end of the day

Grandpa Vance feeding Kabree and Justice
By the time we got to the reception Little Miss Kabree was a bear, as I'm sure you can tell by the pictures. In her defense it was a long day for all the little kids. Sandra has lots of little kids on her side of the family so Kabree did love running around chasing them.

Reception #2
I love, love, loved these center pieces and
Sandra's Mom gave me one to take home : )

Sandra's sis in-law did the picture

The little girls loved watching the wedding video

Kabree loved Caleb's drink so much she had
to hold on to his tie to make sure he didn't get away

Sandra, she has such a pretty smile

After she tossed the bouquet she handed
out a tulip to all the little girls who didn't catch it,
I thought that was sweet.
I was so disappointed because I've been messing with my camera and I took a lot of cute pictures but they were either dark or blurry, I'm NOT a photographer by any means I think I need to give up and buy a simpler camera :(.

Anyways, like I said before we are so happy for these two and we love them both a TON. Plus I'll be honest I love her family (especially that Jessica;), they are all so sweet and so much fun. I told Zach I loved all of the events because her family is so friendly, well she does have one brother in-law that I'm not sure about, that Larin guy seems crazy ;).

"But I'm not done yet"
We had a Kabree's birthday party Saturday out in Arbon with our families. We had so much fun and let me tell you Kabree is one very lucky little girl to have such a great family that loves her. I got pretty stressed right before the party because I never anticipated how long it would take to make 70 little bug cupcakes, it's a very good thing Wendy, Heather and my Mom were there to help me, thanks guys. But the kids seem to think they were fun so it was worth it. I made everyone little head bands that had but antennas on them, which left me with three blisters during the process of making them. The kids acted like they really liked them so it made it completely worth it. Little Miss Kabree wore her's for about 1 min tops and that was the end of that, she didn't like it one bit, surprise, surprise :). Kabree loves all of her family and was bouncing back and forth between everyone, it was pretty cute. It was like she was going around saying hi to everyone who came to wish her a Happy Birthday.

She got very shy again when everyone started singing Happy Birthday. Of coarse she loved her cupcake. At first she would just touch her finger to the frosting but then after we helped her a little she dove right in. Poor Justice was getting very jealous so with Heather's permission we let him join in the action. He was in hog heaven going to town on his cupcake. They would try to take a taste of the other ones cupcake and then would get very upset with each other. They also kept whipping their hands on the other one. It was so dang cute and tons of fun! Thanks to everyone who came to join us we loved having all of you!

We love our little Kabree so much and feel so lucky to have her as our little girl!

Keri holding Paedyn and Spencer

Ok, I know I'm her Mommy but I just have to say Kabree is just so stinking cute I could take over a thousand pictures a month of her. Spencer and Keri couldn't make our family Birthday party so we decided to meet up at Pizza Hutt for a little party. Heather was so sweet and brought the cake and balloons, which Kabree keeps "oooing" over today. It was so much fun, Hanna and Paedyn were instant friends and were both very excited to help Kabree open her presents. Kabree could take or leave the opening part, she was excited over the toys though! I have been looking forward to her eating cake for so long and she defiantly didn't disappoint. She was so cute, she would pick up the whole piece put it to her mouth, take a bite and set the cake back on the plate while she chewed. The frosting was white so it didn't show up very good but take my word for it her little cheeks were covered. When we started singing Happy Birthday, Kabree got all shy and tucked into Zach and didn't really want to blow out the candles so Hanna and Paedyn had to help. However, when everyone started clapping when the candle went out then she liked it and started clapping too.

Kabree only took at 20 minute nap yesterday so by the end she was a very tired little girl and very ready for a bath and bed. But she slept through the WHOLE NIGHT!!!! Honestly I swear the heavens should open and angels should start singing. It couldn't have happened a better night, let's just say between Kabree's messed up schedule and the puppy, sleep has been sparse this week.

Today we get to go get her 1 year pics and then the family party on Saturday, she is one spoiled little girl this week :)! I wonder how she turned into Little Miss Personality ;)!
