Happy, Happy Birthday Aunt Sissy!

It's that time once again to celebrate one of our favorite people, Aunt Sissy!  Heather is the best sister anyone could ever ask for and truly is my best friend.  We love that she lets us crash her birthday every year!  We headed to Idaho Falls to the Museum of Idaho and to Sarah's Candy Cottage once again.  We had lunch at Freddy's and then hurried home so Lib could get to work.  Heather got a Birthday nap before we had a dinner of pulled pork and then went on a Pokemon walk to the park with our fur babies.  Now I'm totally against games on my phone but the Birthday girl insisted that's what she wanted for her birthday is for me to play Pokemon Go with her.  The kids thought it was the best thing ever!
After our walk Heather and her kids headed home and Zach and I took our girls to the newest Snowcone Shack.  Holy smokes....we got smalls and they were huge!  The girls were so excited that they got the Kiki flavored snowcones : ).
Museum of Idaho
Heather and I could have taken a lot longer in the museum but it was a lot of reading (interesting stories) but it was a bit hard for the kids.  It makes you so grateful that we live in the time we do and that so many people sacrificed their time, talents and lives so that we can have the country we do today.
Kiki and Libby came too but they weren't feeling the picture

 Sarah's Candy Cottage
Um it's a cottage of candy, need I say more?  YUM!

Pokemon Go
The kids were so excited to play the game, I swear it took us forever to walk to the park because everyone had their heads down looking for Pokemon lol.

We love you Heather and are so grateful to have you in our lives!  Happy birthday Sissy XOXO!

Whitney's BabyQue

For Whitney's family Baby Shower Wendy threw her a BabyQue and invited whole families, not just the ladies!  The food was super yummy and it was great to see everyone!  Jeff and Whitney did get "showered" for their shower though.  Luckily the weather held out until everyone was mostly done eating and then it let loose and hailed!  Wendy had planned ahead so they had two easy up shades and we were close to the shed so everyone was able to take cover for the most part!  It was not what Wendy had, had planned but it definitely made memories!  Everyone was laughing and joking about switching spots to be under the food tent.

Jeff opened the blanket from Grandma JoAnn
My mom is so talented and always makes the prettiest blankets.  Poor Grandma JoAnn is still fighting with shingles so she wasn't able to join us for swimming or for the shower.

Isn't this the cutest fabric?!
Kabree asked Troy to go outside with her for a minute and this is the picture Troy sends me

***On a side note:  Cayleb got engaged over 4th of July weekend and we are so excited to be having Jordan joining our family this December!***

Ward Family Swim Party

With everyone's busy schedules we decided just to go swimming for a family get together this year. We once again rented out my sweet friend Sandra's pool.  The kids played non stop the whole 3 1/2 hours!  They did stop for about 5 minutes to snarf food down before jumping back in.  Zach and I got some floatie chairs and a killer whalte at Wal-Mart and the killer whale one was a hit!  Hanna and Mattie were there I promise but they were diving for rings the whole time so I didn't get good pictures of them!

How Grandpa spent the day
We missed those who couldn't make it but are glad as many that did make it did.  The Sun was warm, water was cool, the food was good and the company was even better!  I sure love my family and am grateful to see them even if only for a few short hours!
