"My Lip Gloss Be Poppin"

For Kabree's birthday one of her little friends gave her a lip gloss kit.  Kabree was sweet enough to share with Keagan and let her make one too.  It was a bit messy but super fun and the girls LOVED it and are very proud every time they put on their lip gloss cause "...it be poppin!"
 Ready to start
 Putting the Vaseline in
Time for flavoring, Kabree picked Cherry, Keke picked Berry
Now for the sparkles
 Mixing it all in

Guilty Pleasures

So lets face it we all have our own addictions we are battling!  For some it's nicotine others alcohol, for me it's.....auctions!  I usually can keep myself reined in pretty well there has only been 1 or 2 incidences; one bidding on an antique for Shawn; where to both our horror we were bidding against each other :( and the Lincoln Navigator incident; that story is best left in the past ;)!
Well since thus said incident I have stayed clear from all auctions, physical and cyber until last week!  The girls just recently have been intrigued with Littlest Pet Shop; which as a little girl were my favorite!!!!  So when I saw this lot I threw all caution to the wind and began the bidding war.  I text my Mom, Heather and Zach.  My Mom saying "Jessi I don't know, I think you should leave it."  Zach and Heather much to my surprise encouraged it (I think they might have been joking but it fueled my fire).  Then Heather saying "If you don't get it then I want it", well that sent me over the edge and thus landed me the winner of this INSANE lot of Littlest Pet Shop!
That sack is filled with little brushes, hats, water bottles, food dishes ect.

These cuties helped me clean EVERYTHING!!!

We are enjoying our Pet Shop town and needless to say, you know what we will be playing the next several weeks!!!

Tis The Season

Tis the time of year, time to find the perfect dress, primp the hair, do the make up and most important put on your dancing shoes!  It's prom season!!!

Libby
Libby had a Saturday filled with soccer games!!!  She literally got home at 8 and was headed out the door by 9!!!  It took a lot of team work!!!  Once Lib was out of the shower she sat on a stool and started doing her make up while Heather and I tag teamed blow drying her hair.  Then while I started pinning her hair up Heather was feeding Lib string cheese and granola bars : ).  We pinned the last hair into place at 8:45 right as Tanner walked in the door!  It was so fun to help and see Libby off to her first prom!  She looked beautiful!!!

 Time for the flowers
Zach had to offer his expertise
We had to do a Blue Steal pose
This girl might seem shy but she is so spunky and fun!
You say strike a pose and she works it baby!

Shaylynn
Shopping for Shay's prom dress was a bit crazier than we had bargained for but all worked out in the end.  We planned almost 2 weeks ahead when we would go shopping and silly me assumed the stores would be open; turns out none of them are open on Mondays!!!  So we regrouped and headed the next day to Idaho Falls.  We started to panic a bit at the first store because we loved lots of the dresses but quickly realized they were all WAY out of our price range!!!  Lucky for us our second try was a hit and Shay found lots of dresses to choose from and one she LOVED!
Shay's prom day/night wasn't as crazy as Libby's and she got to take her time getting ready : ).  We had my good friend Adrianne's sister Lindsey (which is also Holli's friend from high school; got to love how small this crazy world we live in is : ) do Shays hair and she did amazing!  It turned out exactly like the pictures!  Then Shay did her makeup and headed off to Malad for her dinner date.  Zach and I headed to Malad later to watch Shay promenade.  She looked absolutely beautiful and I'm so grateful I was able to be part of Shay's first prom.

More Birthday Fun!!!

Kabree has been begging for months to have a friend party and us parents were very much on the fence.  After lots and lots of begging and persuading Kabree finally convinced Zach and I she could have one this year.  Kabree had wanted an Outerlimits party but after attending a party of a friends at Randys and very little persuasion from Zach she decided Randys was the place!  Then came the hard task of picking 14 friends; lets be honest it wasn't hard at all for Kabree she is very lucky and truly considers her cousins some of her very best friends.
Kabree wanted to jump off so bad, she was SOOOOOO SCARED......but she did it!!!!
