Pride Week

  Man I'm loving that Kabree LOVES school so much!  It sure makes life easier!  WTMS had pride week this week.  Monday was Roots Pride - bring your parents to lunch and dress like your parents or from the Eighties or Nineties. Lunch was very entertaining;) and Kabree got thrown into the school activity of the day (Kahoots) last minute and took 4th for her homeroom.  Tuesday was Friend Pride - dress like a friend or friends and Kabres's whole friend group dressed alike. Wednesday was Fan Pride - represent your favorite team, video game or book.  Kabree and her friends wore their team jerseys. Thursday was Beaver Pride - wear your school pride shirts.  Kabree  got to cheer one last time at the pep assemble  

Skiing

  Arbon did their ski lessons again this year.  Keagan was excited to be in intermediate lessons this year.  She was a little bummed most of the kids switched to snowboarding but she is still glad she stuck to skiing!  Kabree was a great sport and joined us a few days and would hang out with Keagan after classes.  She also took a couple of the kids on a few runs on the big hill so Zach and I could do a few good runs ;).

  Kabree decided to try cheer this year and ended up really enjoying it!  She did great and we are proud of her for trying something new!

  We finally got to meet Cayleb and Jordan's twins!  Oh my goodness they are so tiny!  We are so happy for them and loved getting to meet the twins.  Luke was so sweet about introducing me to each of babies and making sure I knew which one was Kollyns and which one was Crew.

Valentine's Day

   Valentine's Day ended up being a snow day for all of us girls!  Both girls were a little bummed to miss school ;). But we all did get to sleeping in a bit!  We enjoyed eating heart shaped pasta, heart shaped Reese peanut butter cups and just chilling inside most of the day!

  Not to worry we did all get to celebrate with our friends and "Valentine's" the next day!  Keagan is very into axolotls right now so it was no surprise when she picked that for her Valentine's box and her Valentine's.  She did great with her box and it turned out so cute!  Because of all of our "extreme cold days" I decided to make a cupcake Valentine's box.  It turned out HUGE!

Super Bowl Reading

  Every year for the Super Bowl the school divides into teams and does a reading challenge.  They see which team can read the most points!  Keagan was on the Eagles team this year.  She got very into the dress up days and was the most excited for the dress like a character from your favorite book day.  She decided to dress like the dragon Tsunami from Wings of Fire.  She made an awesome mask but ended up having Grandma JoAnn do her make up (which ended up amazing).  I did The Elf on the Shelf but wasn't nearly as creative as Keagan's!
