A Day With Justice & Kabree

I decided to share with everyone what a day with Justice and Kabree is like as of late.  We are very lucky to have Justice come every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and some Fridays.  We even get to have Hanna join us every Tuesday and every other Monday.    For those who don't already know these two are BUSY!
We start our day off with breakfast and playing with toys.  Then we do a activity or craft of some sort.  Today we played with the noodles for 45 min just picking them up and transferring them from one bowl to the other who knew $.99 could be so fun!  Then I went to get the video camera and came back to them throwing the noodles on the floor and sliding on them.  Seriously cannot leave the room with these two.  So I decided to keep them busy while I mopped so I filled the sinks with dish soap and water and gave them each a rag and cup to wash.  Holy Cow!  They found a way to make that a mess too!  After 10 minutes they were both (as well as the whole kitchen) pretty soaked.  Needless to say they both got changed into a whole new set of clothes before snack time.  After snack time it's on to story time, we always read 7-10 books then the kids like to play and look at the books for another 10-15 minutes on their own.  They are so cute reading them to each other.

While I was putting away the books they made a run for my bedroom to jump on the bed.  After I got after them for that and went down stairs to get the clean sheets I came up to giggling in my room but no kids to be found.  They love hiding in closets, which means if it's my room shoes are everywhere if it's Kab's room books are everywhere.  After we cleaned up the shoes it was on to helping make the bed.  Then Zach got home from school which means a game of chase and pile on Zach.
Then it's on to lunch and quite time.  Quite time they each have their special spot on the couches and we snuggle up with blankets and watch a show.  Then it's wonderful nap time 1 1/2-2 hrs of oh so peaceful, sleeping kiddos : )!
After nap time it's time for another snack and then we play silly games until Heather comes home.  Sometimes we jump on the tramp, other days we play hide-n-go-seek.  Some days are crazier than others but I love staying home with these kiddos!

Sparkly Shoes

Kabree's Birth Great Grandparents (Grandpa Dan and Grandma Patty) gave these cute sparkly shoes to her last year and they finally fit.  Kabree wore them for the first time Sunday and informed me they are sparkly Tinkerbell shoes because Tinkerbell has pixie dust.  I asked her to let me take a picture of her pretty sparkly shoes and these are the poses I got.  LOVE this silly little kiddo!

Shay turned the big 13 last Thursday and we were headed out to Arbon to paint so I asked Shawn if he wanted me to bring a cake.  I wanted to make a zebra cake on both the outside and inside.  It didn't turn out as good as I had hoped on either part but for what it's appearance lacked it made up for in taste.  This is so bragging but it was so super yummy and moist I wish I would have made a bigger one.
After Shay opened her presents Kabree decided to climb into one of the bags so Zach picked it up and handed it to my Dad.  Kabree thought it was hilarious!  Also after the party Wyatt and Kabree decided to spin in circles until they were both so dizzy they were sick, but they just kept laughing and spinning.

Kabree riding the stick horse

We celebrated Paisleys 1st birthday Sunday with Zach's family.  She was a tired little girl but still such a cutie.  Kabree was very excited when we got to Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sally's to see they had a stick horse.  She rode it around the house and up and down the stairs for like an hour.  She even got her horse to jump over Elmo a couple times.  Believe it or not she only fell down the stairs once and she pulled Lynden down with her, it was a slow motion tumble all the way down to the bottom but both girls made it out ok.

Rub A Dub Dub

 Kabree, Justice & Hanna

Little Miss like most kids LOVES bath time, lately her favorite things for bath time are bubbles and tub crayons (Thank you Aunt Heather).  It's hilarious to watch her try and decide which one she wants that day  "uuummmm crayons....NO...uuuummmmmm bubbles.....NO ummmmm...."

Hoppity Horse

She got bucked off a couple times

We went out to Arbon to hang out a few days this past week and my Mom got out Shawn's old Hoppity Horse.  We loved this thing as kids and it was well used by all of my siblings as well as myself so it's amazing that it's still hopping.  Kabree loved it and would try to get higher jumps and do little tricks, well she got bucked off a couple times but she still loved it.

We had a great New Year's this year!  We went to Darrel and Laurie's, we always have fun but this year was a blast.  We had TON's of great food, played lot's of games, had amazing fireworks (wish I could have taken better pics) and of coarse cheered in the New Year!  We had a good 2011 but cannot wait for what 2012 has in store for us!  We have lots of changes coming our way this year but we are pretty excited for what the future holds.
