Kabree's Arbon Adventures #3

Little Miss Kabree's third adventure involved Shawn, Eric and Grandpa.  Because it's spring the yard is mud, and puddles everywhere.  Kabree wanted to ride the snowmobile, Zach told her no so she tried to run away from him and fell in a mud puddle.  Kabree ran to Eric crying and telling Eric how mean her Dad was.  So Eric showed her how to jump over puddles.  She thought that was pretty fun, then she saw her uncle Shawn, cousin Eric, Dad and Grandpa all trying to get each other wet, she thought that looked like more fun so she would yell, "Shawn, Shawn, come on" then holding his hand jump in the puddle, then she would say "Eric, Eric, come on" then do the same, then it would be Grandpa's turn.  She figured if she had one of them it was ok to do it.  Every time I would ask her if she was ready to go in and get warm she would scream and run for one of them.  Grandpa showed her how to jump really hard and make great big splashes, she LOVED it, until she got it on her face then she wasn't so sure, she would say "hey, eyes", then do it again.  Needless to say by the end of our great Arbon Adventure day we were VERY DIRTY!

Kabree's Arbon Adventures #2

Second on Kabree's adventures was riding horses with Grandpa.  She LOVED it!  She loves Pal and he is pretty mellow so it was a good fit.  Every time Dad would try to taker her off she would cry 'horse, horse" and wrap her arms around his neck so Dad couldn't get her off.  Dad decided to let Kabree ride back to his pin, she was in heaven.  Kabree kept squealing "yee haw"  When Dad walked Pal by the 2 yr old studs Pal got a little hot and raised up his head and let out a neighed.  Zach yanked Kabree off, just in case Pal got a little overly excited.  Kabree was so mad she was screaming and yelling at Zach and crying to Grandpa that she wanted to "ride Pal'.  We were laughing so hard because most kids would have never gotten back on but Kabree didn't care she just knew she wanted to ride.  This made my Dad very happy, he told Kabree she's a true cowgirl, she will always get back on : ).  When we finally did take her off she sobbed, reaching for Pal, crying "Pal, come here boy, Pal", I have to add that in Kabree language Pal sounds more like Powl, it's pretty cute.

Kabree's Arbon Adventures #1

Zach and I have been refinishing a couple dressers the last few weeks so we have been making lots of trips out to Arbon to use my families awesome saws, sanders, sheds, ect.  This has equaled a lot of cousin and grandparent time for Little Miss.  My Dad feels it is his personal job to make sure Kabree enjoys getting DIRTY, I hate having things on her clothes or her hands or face not clean so my family thinks this means I don't let her get dirty.  Don't get me wrong I LOVE working out at my parents, four-wheeling, hiking, I don't mind getting dirty, but the second I get home I want a shower.  But my family feels I'm hindering Kabree by living in the BIG city : ), so they must make sure she is not citified as they put it.
Now that they have cell phones in Arbon, I received a call about every 20 min telling me what new adventure Kabree was on, some she LOVED, some scared the pants off her.  First my Mom, Larin and Jessica took her to feed cows.  This for some reason scared her like crazy.  I guess when they first got up there and Larin got out to grab a calf for her to pet she yelled and jumped over the seat to get in back with Jessica.  Later  Larin was trying to graft a cow and Kabree started yelling "he's biting, the babies biting", Larin goes no look and squirts some milk out, telling her "see it's eating", Kabree very disgusted replied "ew it's milk" apparently she didn't know where milk came from yet : ).
