10 Months

I cannot believe our little girl is already 10 months old. At her last check up she was 16.9lbs and 27 inches long, so she's growing, just a little on the small side ; )! Kabree gets busier every day. She got her second tooth this last month. She has learned to wave hello and good bye, claps her hands and sort of says Dada and Mom. I don't really think she knows what she's saying but we think will count it anyways : )!

Kabree still loves bath time and crawls as fast as she can down the hall when she hears the tub -running. She loves having books read to her and her favorite is pat-a-cake, she loves clapping her hands along with you. She hates having her shoes and head bands on but I still attempt them everyday with the hopes that one day they will make it at least an hour.
For those who have never seen our daughter in person, she literally never sits still. The closest she might come is sitting on her bum bouncing up and down. She is a very active VERY busy baby. Which makes taking pictures interesting, they either turn out blurry or she is trying to grab the camera. She gets very excited when she hears someone knock on the door, she hurries over to the gate and bounces up and down until I open the door. Kabree loves her cousins and is all smiles when ever she is around any of them.

We love Kabree so much and couldn't imagine our lives without her. Even though some days she completely wears me out I wouldn't change anything about her. I love the busy, full of personality little girl she is.

Fun In The Snow

Our sledding hill
Zach and Jessi
Ethan and Chase
Shay and Libby
Whitney and Wendy
Heather
Hank followed the snowmobiles the whole way,
Troy snowboarding for the first time
Kabree with her Grandpa Vance
Cayleb letting Kabree play with his milk
(Cayleb is one of Kabree's favorite people)

Troy and Wendy came down for a visit so Heather and I loaded up our little families and headed out to Dad and Mom's too. It was crazy as always when it comes to my family but a lot of fun. Larin and Jessica were out of town this last weekend for her brothers mission farewell so they weren't there but they got to have fun with their cousins on their Mom's side.

JT and Cayleb

Friday we all just kind of hung out, Zach and Cayleb pulled each other around on the snow board with the snowmobile for awhile and the guys went on a short night ride but that was it for Friday. Heather and I let Kabree and Justice bath together (we don't usually because Kabree gets a little overly excited when she has a friend in the tub : ) Kabree loved Grandma's toys so much she wouldn't even look at the camera but Justice was all smiles as always. We had Shay try to talk to Kabree to get her to look up and then she got all excited and tried climbing out of the tub. Like I said Kabree gets very excited to have her cousins to play with. Shawn was brave and took all the younger kids to his house to spend the night in their loft. He put their tent up in it so the kids think that's the best thing ever! We thought that would make for a great nights sleep, however Justice and Kabree had other ideas. They were both up all night.

Are those the craziest grins you've ever seen?

Our escapee

Justice, happy as always

Saturday the kids played in the snow ALL day, including the teenage boys. We didn't head up to the hill to go sledding until 4. Troy tried snowboarding for the first time, he did pretty good for his first time but there was a ton of powder where we were. It was kind of hard to sled down. We got the snowmobiles stuck multiple times. It was a lot of fun though, Whit had a amazing she's alive moment when she decided to ride her snow board down the hill, which you fly down and have no way to stop because your sitting on a snow board. She flipped and her head landed in the snow and no kidding her body flipped over with her head stuck in the snow and spoken just like her Dad she jumps up and starts yelling "my board, grab my board I don't want it scratched"
A few of our favorite moments from this weekend. I glance into the leaving room and catch Dad watching TV and bouncing a baby doll on his knee. I asked him if he realized he had a doll and not one of the grandkids and he looked all embarrassed and explained that Hanna had asked him to bounce her doll while she ran an errand : ), he's such a good Grandpa!

Heather bought a veggie tray and the cauliflower was bad in it so they put it in a zip lock to throw it away so the smell couldn't get out. Well, Shawn has a very sensitive gag reflex so Troy and Heather saw an opportunity. Shawn got sick which had Troy and Heather on the ground rolling with laughter, but that wasn't enough so they tried shoving it under the door and then Heather unlocked the door so they could get him again.
