Our Forever Family

Our Forever Family

Our Little Angel
Thanks Uncle Sky for this pic

A few weeks ago we were able to take Kabree to the Idaho Falls temple to be sealed as a forever family. It was a wonderful experience that we will cherish forever and Kabree was such a good little girl for the sealing. My good friend Ad took a few quick pics outside the temple for us, thank you so much for doing that for us Ad! Kabree did so good all day, with court in the morning and driving to Idaho Falls for the sealing by the time we got to pictures she was pretty tired so getting smiles was a little hard, but we were so proud of how good she did. We love Kabree so much and are so happy to be a forever family now!

4 Months Old

Kabree is no 4 months old and we can't even believe it. She is growing so fast and we are loving every single minute of it. She now weighs 12lbs 8oz and is 24inches long. We love how much she changes every day and have about 1000 pictures to document every moment of her little life. I was talking with a friend last night and she worded perfectly, it seems like we just got her but yet I can't even remember life before her. We thougt we were happy before but now we truely know what happiness is.

We Are Official!

Our first official family picture
w/Judge Kress the man who made us a family

Us with our lawyer Norman Reece

Us with Andrew our caseworker
who made our family possible

Yep that's right as of yesterday morning at approximately 10:24 a.m. we officially in the eyes of the state of Idaho became Kabree's parents. Court went great and we even got to start about 5 minutes early. Kabree did great and didn't hardly make a sound. It went quick thanks to our caseworker doing such a great job with the paperwork. We are so grateful for all the people that made our family possible and for all of the great family and friends who showed up for support!

My poor brother Shawn saw us in the hall saw that it was 9:50 and went into the restroom. Then when he came out he said he saw a guy (who he later realized was our lawyer) look out the hall and shut the court room door. So he sat in the hall waiting for about 10 minutes before deciding to look in the window of the court room to see who was in there and realized it was us!! So he got to catch the last half of it.

My poor sister was very upset that she was not able to attend court, however I think just having a baby the day before is a very good reason to not attend : )! Besides she hosted a pizza party after court at her house. Yea, the day after having a baby she had our families come over to her house to see baby Justice and celebrate Kabree's day in court.

Right now my heart is so full to know that Kabree is really all ours and that my sister and her beautiful little boy are here and doing great! We were able to attend the the temple with Kabree yesterday as well and thanks to my friend Ad once again for capturing important moments in our lives. I will share pictures of the temple later.

Justice Matthew

Please forgive the many posts in 1 day. However, because not everyone is as blessed as me to live in the same town as Matt and Heather. So here are some pics of the cute little guy. Matt and Heather had their little baby boy today, he weighed 7lbs 12oz and both baby and mommy are doing great. By the way yes, Kabree is very jealous of his head of HAIR!!! We are so happy for Matt and Heathers family and already love this little guy bunches. Congrats guys and we love you!

Kabree Snuggles

She's started holding her toys

She likes to pull her bottle out of her mouth
but then can't get it back in : )!

Kabree and Heather

Grandma Sally with Kabree

Grandpa Gary, Grandma Sally & Kabree

Kabree has grown so much in the last two weeks. She has started rolling over, holds her own toys (she hits herself once in awhile though), and can some what hold her bottle. She pulls her binkie out of her mouth looks at it and tries to put it back in her mouth but we still are struggling with the aiming part. I'm amazed everyday by our little cutie, she is so loving and always smiles right when you need it most.

We are so lucky to be able to spend lots of time with family so Kabree gets lots of snuggles and loves. We get to see Uncle Skylar and Aunt Heather at least three times a week. Zach's parents come over about ever other week and I try to take Kabree to my parents (which two of my brothers live there too) every other week. Plus we make sure to see Uncle Troy and his family and Uncle Caleb lots too. We are so grateful Kabree has great Grandparents and lots of Uncles and Aunts that will let her know how loved she is.

Future Cowgirl

It was fair week this week so that means lots of fun for my family. My Mom is the Horse 4H leader so all of my nieces participate. My cousin Haylee, and Shay, Katie and Libby all did it this year. They did so good and it was fun watching them. I'm so proud of all of them! In bareback they all did amazing Katie won, Libby second, Haylee third and Shay got a blue ribbon. Heather, Jessica and I had a good time watching them and eating the yummy fair food. Sorry the pics are funny, I had a smudge on my camera the whole day and because I'm so spacey I didn't even notice until the afternoon. I just have to add that because Shawn threatened me not to put the picture of him, i had to : )!

Tiny Tots Rodeo
Mattie with her medals

Kooper, Mattie, Makenna, Morgan and Hanna all did the Tiny Tots Rodeo this year. It was so dang cute to see them all dressed up in their cowboy clothes. Hanna was so excited she, kept asking the others if they were doing the competition : )! Mattie, Makenna, Morgan and Hanna all ran barrels with their stick horses and pulled ribbons off the goats tail. They all did great! Mattie even won medals she did so good. Kooper did barrels and halter (with an actual horse), but we didn't get to stay for that. It was super windy and Hanna and Kabree are fair weathered girls. But he got second in barrels! Hanna wasn't scared at all Matt just told her what to do and she was off. Larin's kids need a little extra support from him. Morgan was so shy he pulled his hat off and put it in front of his face. It was pretty funny and they all had a blast. My Dad insisted on taking Kabree out of the car seat even though it was blowing dirt like crazy, and of coarse she loved it she just stared at the kids and horses. The best part of the night was when on the way home Hanna asked Heather "Mom can I sleep in my cowgirl clothes?" Too cute!!
