We were die hards!!!

It's that time once again for ISU homecoming!!!!  Since pretty much everyone in our families attended ISU at least one semester; if not graduated from there we are all ISU supporters!  We always love homecoming!  Matt, Heather, Larin and Jessica and all their kiddos met us for the parade.  It was a bit cold and it started raining the last 15 minutes but the kids loved every single minute of it!  As always we left with a loot of candy and other fun odds and ends!
After the parade Zach, the girls and I headed to the tail gate party, there was tons of great food, fun games to play and they definitely weren't short on fun goodies to pass out!  The girls thought it was great!  By that time we were hitting 1pm so the girls and I headed home and let Zach take Jeff to the game instead of us.  Kabree was a bit disappointed; she is Zachs sports fan and loves ISU football, but once we were home for her to snack on her treats and play with her new frisbee and nurf balls she was fine.  The game was a long one and Zach said it was a great game to watch and it always helps when ISU wins!
We had a great day supporting ISU and even getting to enjoy some of it with family, which always makes it even better!

Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day weekend we decided to spend it in Arbon, Zach helping with harvest and us girls partying it up with cousins!
Friday
Grandma JoAnn's birthday!  Zach, the girls and I, Heather, Libby, Justice and Hanna all headed to Arbon to spend the night with Grandma JoAnn on her birthday.  Jessica brought her crew over and we celebrated with pizza and cupcakes (thanks to Jessica)!  We also decided to play outside games in the dark.  Us adults joined in the games and even the teenagers : ).  We played some No Bears Are Out Tonight, Red Rover and Duck, Duck, Goose.  Us adults quickly learned we aren't as young as we use to be but we all still had fun!  Kabree thought the best part of the night was that she got to sleep with Aunt Sissy and Justice in the big bed!
Saturday
Heather and I quickly helped Grandma clean up a few things before we headed down to the Arbon school playground with Jessica and her kiddos.  Katie was babysitting so she brought the kids she was watching along too.  Jessica brought as many things with wheels that would fit in her van and the kids had a ball.  The roller skated, rode scooters, bikes and ripstiks, tried out the ziggle, and Keagan loved the shopping cart Jessica brought.  She loved running like a mad woman around the playground.  The kids loved playing on the play ground equipment too.  It was a great way to burn off lots of energy, for us adults too!
After fun at the school we headed back to Jessicas for a taco lunch and more cousin play time at Jessicas.  After our naps Kooper took the girls and Justice down to feed and water Captain Jack and Paint Ball and a little fun on the horse walker.  Kabree and Justice loved grabbing on to the ropes and swinging around.  However, poor Kab caught the buckle end of one of the ropes in the eye and blacked her eye : (.  There were a few tears but not enough she wanted to stop!
Heather and I took Kabree, Keagan, Justice and Libby in the Rhino for a ride to Laurie Calls for a quick visit before Heather had to head home.  The kids loved playing with there kittens and were ready for the tub and bed after that.

Sunday
We headed to church without Grandpa who is still on bed rest for his leg and Grandma who wore herself out canning all day Saturday.  After church we had Sunday dinner with Shawns family and then enjoyed a Sunday afternoon nap.  Zach grilled us up some stakes for dinner and we got to visit with Jessi's Aunt Linda and Uncle Ken, Larin and Jessica while the kids watched a movie in the living room (Thanks Kooper for the idea and for starting it ;).

Monday
We started off the day with Larin's kiddos coming over to play the Wii at Grandma's house.  The girls and I enjoyed a quite lunch with Grandpa and Grandma and a Barbie movie (per Keagan's request).  After quite time we headed back down to the horse walker for some more fun with cousins.    This time the kids got out the water and water trough.  Kooper decided he was Tarzan swinging into the trough and the other kids quickly followed suite.  Keagan stuck to the mud and sand and thought that hosing down the other kids was the best thing on Earth.  Kooper was a great sport and took the brunt of Keagan's hosing people down!  Kabree had a blast playing with Kooper, Mattie and Morgan on the ropes and in the trough.  She even took a turn swinging into the trough.  She made it in and back out all by herself!!!! She said it was fun but she wasn't going to try that again!

Sometimes they didn't make it into the trough...I don't think they minded

We had a great weekend with family and are so grateful our girls have the best cousins ever!

1st Day of Kindergarten

Showing our sign language "K" for Kindergarten
Keagan wanted to be in the picture too!

Our Little Miss Kabree isn't so little anymore!  Kabree had her first day of Kindergarten.  She got Ms. Haber for her teacher and has two of her little friends in her class; Trey and Beck.  Kabree knew exactly what she wanted to wear for her first day "purple pants and a shirt with a necklace" and luckily we found both (and on clearance too)! There were a lot of tears and luckily none from Kabree (that morning anyways).  Kabree was a bit nervous but didn't shed a single tear at drop off.  Mommy's eyes filled up but made it out into the hall before they fell but the biggest surprise of all was Keagan!  She was devastated!  Keagan sobbed and sobbed all day long "Kabree not house, where's Kabree".  But all was well once afternoon came and we were all back together again.  Kabree loved her "pretty" teacher and that she got to eat lunch at school.  So here is to a great Kindergarten year!
