Sledding Fun

  Heather and her crew came to Arbon to spend the day sledding.  Mattie, Grandma and Grandpa joined us too.  We had fun, but boy was it cold!  It was hurt your face cold, so after 1 1/2 hours we were all ready to head home for hot chocolate and sloppy joes.

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out

  There was a lot of mixed emotions concerning the BB guns from Grandpa and Grandma.  Kabree was very excited and couldn't wait to shoot it.  Keagan, the second she opened it wanted to return it, she cried during Christmas breakfast that she didn't want to ever shoot it.  We watched A Christmas Story a few days before Christmas thinking it would be funny but it freaked Keagan out.  We even told her she would have safety googles but she was still pretty freaked out that it would hurt if the BB came back and hit her in the googles. After a LOT of reassurance the day after Christmas she decided to give it a try and ended up liking it!  Kabree of coarse loved it!

Christmas Day

  Kiki tried to start Christmas morning off at 12:30 a.m. but we wouldn't go for it and told her she had to go back to bed, she told me she better just sleep with us so we could tell her the second she could get up ;).  Come 6:45 we decided she had waited long enough!  Come to find out at 12:30 she had heard something and found Grandpa in the furnace room.  She was so excited yelling "Grandpa is it time?  Did he come?"  Poor Grandpa was too busy trying to calm himself down (Keagan scared him so bad he couldn't speak) and just gave her a hug for a few minutes before telling her she better go back to bed it wasn't time yet lol! 
  The girls were pretty excited to get their Scruff A Luvs and could hardly wait to wash and dry them up so they could find out what they got!  Kabree was pretty excited Keagan gave her a Lego Dragon set and we got her a digital camera.  Keagan loved the baking set Kabree gave her and was pretty excited about the tent from us.  Then Grandpa Vance and Grandma JoAnn gave the girls Red Ryder BB guns.
  After presents Shawn, Ethan and Shay joined us for breakfast.  Even Gary and Sally stopped in for a couple hours!  The girls ended the night with a movie and sleeping in the tent!
