Christmas Eve

We had the best Christmas Eve ever!!!  We slept in a little then slowly started packing the Suburban to the brim!!!  We made it to Arbon by 11 and between the 4 of us and Grandpa and Grandma got all of our things unloaded and situated in a snap!  We enjoyed an early lunch and a quick visit with Grandpa and Grandma before heading out to play in the snow!
Fun in the snow!!!!
Larin had made a beautiful, perfectly smooth sledding hill; that lasted about 10 minutes with my girls playing on it, my girls kept walking up the front of the hill instead of the back end.....sorry Larin!!!  Shay, Morgan, Wyatt and Mattie joined us and the girls had a blast!!!  Larin, Jessica, Katie, Kooper and MaKenna joined us for a bit too.  I wanted to join in the fun so I only had my camera for the first 5 minutes.  Keagan liked playing with Shay making snow angles, throwing snow balls and sledding down the hill but she LOVED when Larin took her for a ride on the mini snowmobile!!!  Her face was priceless!!!  One funny story about Kiki is she yells to Larin "Larin, come here, come here" he asks her "why?", "come here Larin, come here" "Why so you can throw that snowball in my face?"...."Yes" at least she is honest!  Kabree had a ball sledding, going for rides on the mini snowmobile and going for a ride behind Kooper in the toboggan.  After sledding the kiddos went to see the baby bunnies and then Jessica invited us over for hot chocolate.

 Cleo enjoyed the snow too

Time with Grandpa and Grandma and Christmas Eve Dinner
After all the fun in the snow it was time for Zach and I to get dinner on.  While we did that Kabree and Keagan had picked out little gifts for Grandpa and Grandma from the Dollar Store (I think they might have secretly been picking for themselves) and they did those activities.  Shawn and his kids joined us for Christmas Eve dinner of grilled steak, baked potatoes, garlic shrimp and green beans.

Games
We played a few of the girls favorite Christmas games while we waited for Larins family to finish up their dinner.  Shawn's family was great to join in!
 Christmas Bingo

Don't Eat Rudolph
Grandma got out the first try!!!

 Christmas music
We headed over to Larin's for some Christmas songs.  Each of the 5 older kids played a Christmas song and then we sang Silent Night and O Holy Night.  Morgan was a performer and showed us his skills of playing while laying down!  While Katie played a beautiful version of Silent Night Kabree decided to perform an interpretive dance.  All of the kids did great!

Two of my favorite peeps
 Dessert and more Christmas games
After Larin's we headed back over to Dad and Mom's and had peach pie and more game!
Grandpa took Grandma's ring in and had it replated and rebuilt

No one can beat Grandma's peach pie
 Reindeer nose dive
The object to this game was for the players to get the cotton ball on the end of their noses without using their hands.  Shawn and Larin found a lope hole and used their knees.
Who knows what Shawn is doing!?!  I think he is just flat out cheating!!!

The rest gave it a honest try

 Mattie got it honestly

Shoveling Snow
The object of this game was to use a plastic spoon to scoop up cotton balls into the bowl.  However, you were to only use one hand.  Once again my brothers found lope holes and scrapped their cotton balls up against their bowls to scoop them in.  The game was going great until the group on the end decided to start blowing each others cotton balls out of each others bowls.  Then the game turned into chaos and a mini "snow ball" fight!

 Eric was out for revenge!!!

 The act so innocent

We had such a fun Christmas Eve, the girls laughed and giggled all day and night!  We love our family so much and then to mix Christmas, snow and games in........it was perfect!!!!
