Tarbet Christmas Party

  We had the Tarbet family Christmas party on the 26th.  We started the day of with family pictures and then headed to Gary and Sally's for lunch and presents!  The girls were a little concerned about having their pictures taken by someone other than Adrianne but I assured them Ashley was very nice and they would do great.  Once at Grandpa and Grandma's the girls were super excited about playing with cousins!!!  Kabree was very excited to hold her baby cousin Mason (with Aunt Kira's help), she is definitely the baby person of our family.  The kids thought having another day of gifts was pretty great and were even more excited when they saw what they got.....Shopkins!!!  Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sally spoiled everyone and this Momma is very excited to have her own Victorio strainer (not that my awesome friends won't let me keep borrowing theirs).  All the kids were super excited about Grandmas sewing project!  She made each of the kids pillow beds, needless to say that was the end of the party after they opened them!!!  The kids loved laying on them, jumping on them, rolling around.....well you get the point!  It was a great way to end the Christmas celebrations!!!

Christmas Day

  Christmas was full of excitement as always.  Kabree was up at 6:45 and it almost killed her to wait until 7:20 for everyone else to be up and dressed!!!  She kept saying "I'll just look at the tree, nothing else just the tree " ; ).

    Katie, Grandpa, Larin and Zach all cooked a wonderful, yummy breakfast of bacon, sausage, pancakes and eggs.

  After breakfast everyone tried out some of the new toys and games, some took naps and we watched a Christmas movie.  We had a ham and cheesy potato dinner as per Grandpas request.  We had a great Christmas full of all the excitement, family and yummy food.  As always kids make life so much better!!!!  It was so much fun watching the girls in the morning and then watching them play with their cousins all day.  They really do make the holidays feel magical.  I have the most amazing nieces and nephews who chipped in and helped with everything and made my girls day so much more fun by playing with them! I love my family and I'm so grateful we got to spend it with some of them.
