Easter

We made a real effort this year to make Easter different.  We wanted it to be more spiritual.  All week we did the Holy week videos and talked about the last week of Christ's life.  We made a point to wake up early Easter Sunday to do Easter baskets and be ready for church early so we could have a little thought before church and not feel rushed.  Then after church we invited Grandpa and Grandma over for dinner.  They said they would love to do dinner but suggested we do it at their house instead lol.  They said they had a dishwasher and more room ;).  So we took our dinner to their house and it was very nice to have a dishwasher after dinner :).  After dinner we did my favorite tradition of Resurrection rolls.  We then finished the day with watching Once I Was A Beehive.  I loved doing fun things, spending time with my family, but still having a reverence to the day.  It was a great way to celebrate our Saviors sacrifice and love for us and I hope we continue to find better ways to celebrate Easter in years to come.
