The walk down to the pasture made Ebony tired,
so Katie tried to hitch a ride for her
We had a great Spring Break full of lots and lots of Arbon and cousin time, Kabree's favorite things. We spent lots of time outside visiting horses, riding in aunt Jessica's wagon and just saying hi to all the guys working. As everyone knows that Pal is Kabree's number one horse, man, living thing in the world, everyday required a visit to him. Monday they vaccinated and wormed horses so on Tuesday the horses were all a bit blah. As we were walking to Palls corral Kabree started yelling "Pal it's me boy Kabree Tarbet" then her insanely high pitched loud horse call noise thank you Larin and Dad for teaching her that by the way. Anyways, she yelled that for several yards then when we got to the corral Pal was at the other end and sadly looked at us then turned his head away and would never come to us. After a few minutes Kabree very sadly turns to walk away and says "bye Pal, see you later, then you let me pet you ok". It was so sad. But he did make up for it the next day by giving her lots of snuggles. We got to go check cows a couple times with Uncle Larin, sorry no pictures of that. Saturday when the guys came in for lunch Kabree grabbed my Mom's tote of books set it next to the chair walked over to Shawn and says "Shawn, come on you read to me" So Shawn sat and read to Kabree for half an hour before he fell asleep. A couple times she would tap his shoulder "Wake up! You need to read to me Shawn wake up!" Friday the first baby colt of the year was born so Saturday when they guys all headed to the priesthood session Jessica and I took the kids for a walk to the pasture to check it out. Since Heather was on a trip for Spring Break I had Ebony. She got pretty tired on the walk there but she was too excited to ride in the wagon on the way back, so needless to say she got a good workout for a pug. We ended the night with ice cream and Larin and Jessica's. It was a great week with lots of outside time which we have desperately been craving we cannot wait for more warm weather to come.
