Keagan had her first real bath tonight. She has hated her little spit baths except for when it came time for washing her little head full of hair under the faucet, she loved that part and would open her little mouth and eyes in awe. Well I was curious what she would think of a real bath and to our delight she loved it, she was a bit fussy but the second I set her little body into the warm water she went quite and started chewing on her little thumb. Her favorite part was of course washing her mop of hair, oh how she loves her little head rubbed and warm water poured over it, I cannot lie we love her and all that hair too : )!

Keagan's 1st day home
Kabree and Keagan love each other so much
Kabree helping fold laundry
Love these two more than anything
We've been a bit busy and a bit tired as of late but we defiantly aren't lacking on love, snuggles and smiles. Kabree is a great big sister and loves to hold Keagan, and even helps Mommy fold the laundry. Keagan is already growing so fast and changing everyday. I'm so grateful for my two beautiful little girls who I love more than anything in the world!

Our Little Miss Kabree turned 3 today! We had a quite birthday, with just the four of us. Kabree got to open her present from Dad and Mom and then she helped Daddy make blueberry muffins aka breakfast cupcakes as Kabree calls them. Can you tell our child is obsessed with cupcakes : ). She was pretty excited when she got to blow out candles finally!
We cannot believe that 3 years ago today our lives changed forever! Kabree has brought us more joy than we ever could have imagined possible. We love how smart, cute, funny, full of personality, independent, sweet...(and the list goes on and on) she is. We are so grateful for Spencer and Keri choosing us to be her parents.
Here are a few of Kabree's/our favorite things:
Princesses - Belle is her favorite
Horses - Pal is still top dog with that one
Cupcakes - favorite dessert of all time
Suckers - favorite reward
Loves nightgowns, because they are princess pj's
Crafts - she cries if we don't do one everyday
Food - chicken, chicken nuggets, patties, grilled if it's chicken she loves it
She loves being a big sister and is very protective when Keagan cries
Loves her family
Gives the best hugs ever!
Is such a big girl and clears her own plate after dinner
Helps Mom fold towels
Loves bubble baths
Is super smart and can
Loves being outside no matter the weather or temperature
I'm sure you can tell we just love EVERYTHING about her!

Kabree had a grass fight with Grandpa Gary
Saturday was a bit of a crazy day, we brought Keagan home at 11:00 am, enjoyed her for an hour and then started going like crazy on cupcakes. Thank goodness my Mom took on the job of the making the cupcakes look like a horse, Wendy, Heather, Sally and I all frosted the pink ones. Caleb and Sandra had to pick up the ice cream and bowls I completely spaced about until the last minute. Thank goodness for families. Even though it was a super crazy busy day it was still a great one. Kabree was so excited to be at the park with all the other kids she had a hard time coming back to blow out candles. Then when she did come over it was blowing too hard to have candles, which was one of the things she has been so excited about her birthday. She ate lots of mini cupcakes, well licked lots of pink frosting off the mini cupcakes. She got very spoiled by everyone and got lots of super fun things. She got so excited over the one gift she stuck her head in the bag to see what was in the bottom. I think Kabree's favorite part of the day was at the end of the party when her and Grandpa Gary had a grass fight, she thought that it was pretty funny until Aunt Heather threw grass at her and then she was ticked : ).
Spencer and Kabree moved out of state this past year so they were not able to make it this year but Keri's family still was able to make it. We are so grateful for them and the amazing people they are. Kabree is so lucky to be loved by so many people and even though she was super tired due to all of the craziness of the week I think she still had fun.

We got to bring Keagan home Saturday. Placement was good, sad, exciting and hard as it always is in adoption. We were over the moon excited to be taking home our little girl but that meant H and J had to say good bye. We are so grateful for them and the opportunity they have given us to have Keagan as our daughter.
We were welcomed home with a cute banner that Larin, Jessica and their kids made for us, both of our Mom's, Kira, Lynden, Heather and her kids, Wendy, Ethan, Whitney and Jeff. We are so happy to have us all home and together as a family.

Grandpa's and Grandma's
Grandma Sally and Grandpa Gary
Grandpa Vance and Grandma JoAnn
We were very blessed to get to have our parents come up to the hospital and see our little Cupcake. H was a sweetheart and gave us 2 hours with Keagan so we could introduce her to 4 very special people. They couldn't get over her dark, thick hair. She is already so loved by everyone we couldn't be happier!

Sisters
Is that my baby?
Lets get a closer look
Kabree just stared at Keagan
Look at her little feet
Since we told Kabree about Keagan she has been pretty excited for a baby sister. When people ask her what her babies name is she says "Keagan, I call her cupcake". She really does refer to her baby sister as her baby cupcake :). She was super excited when Whitney brought her up to the hospital to meet her sister. She was in awe, she smiled and laughed "it's my sister, my baby Keagan". While she held her she just stared in awe at her and we couldn't get her to look away from Keagan even for a picture : ). She already loves Keagan as much as we do and cannot wait until "we bring our baby cupcake home".
