Yep that's right as of yesterday morning at approximately 10:24 a.m. we officially in the eyes of the state of Idaho became Kabree's parents. Court went great and we even got to start about 5 minutes early. Kabree did great and didn't hardly make a sound. It went quick thanks to our caseworker doing such a great job with the paperwork. We are so grateful for all the people that made our family possible and for all of the great family and friends who showed up for support!
My poor brother Shawn saw us in the hall saw that it was 9:50 and went into the restroom. Then when he came out he said he saw a guy (who he later realized was our lawyer) look out the hall and shut the court room door. So he sat in the hall waiting for about 10 minutes before deciding to look in the window of the court room to see who was in there and realized it was us!! So he got to catch the last half of it.
My poor sister was very upset that she was not able to attend court, however I think just having a baby the day before is a very good reason to not attend : )! Besides she hosted a pizza party after court at her house. Yea, the day after having a baby she had our families come over to her house to see baby Justice and celebrate Kabree's day in court.
Right now my heart is so full to know that Kabree is really all ours and that my sister and her beautiful little boy are here and doing great! We were able to attend the the temple with Kabree yesterday as well and thanks to my friend Ad once again for capturing important moments in our lives. I will share pictures of the temple later.

Congrats Tarbet family! That is so exciting. Finally the state recognizes what you all already knew and felt! I'm sure going to the temple and knowing Kabree is yours forever was an amazing experience. We love you guys and are so happy for you!
Congratulations Jessi!!! That is so awesome that everything went well in court and that you were also able to go to the temple and be sealed. I couldn't be more happy for you. You guys deserve Kabree and she is so lucky to have you and Zach as her parents.

Congrats. We were so glad we were able to be there at the temple with you. Funny thing the Judge that made you guys a family is my cousin.
