Because of COVID Christmas gatherings looked a bit different this year. We are so grateful we are able to still visit all of the Grandparents! We were able to visit Grandpa Mark and Grandma Cindi and the girls were able to decorate cookies with their cousin Austin while there. We have missed them so much during COVID but unfortunately the girls uncle Dave was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer this summer and after we helped them move he started treatments and they have all been social distancing so they can help Saeward. Them visiting with us made it so they would have to quarantine for 10 days after. They assured us this is what they wanted to do and this was the right time for it. We loved getting to see them but I'm so frustrated with myself for not getting a picture with them and the girls!!
Gary's work (and Zach's) asked them to try to avoid large family or social gatherings so the Tarbet family party got called off this year. The girls were pretty disappointed but they have been great sports about understanding this is not a forever thing and sometimes we have to do really hard things like call off parties. They were excited to get their new pillow cases from Grandma Sally and they always love their stockings full of peanuts :).
