Introducing Patches

The girls have been wanting a guinea pig for months and I told them they needed to do research on line to figure out how much it would cost them and everything they would need/want to know about them first.  They did and figured that they needed to save up $300 (they must have priced out some pretty fancy cages and guinea pigs;). Plus Grandpa wasn't very fond of the idea of another pet in the house so he had said no.  Well one day we were in town running errands and the girls asked if we could go to McKee's and look at the guinea pigs, Grandpa was with us and said lets let them go look at them.  Well while the girls were looking at them I was asking questions about how long they lived, taking care of them and Keagan was answering every single question before the worker did so I was pretty impressed.  Then she asked him how much they cost and he told them $65 for the whole set up.  They started screaming "we have enough, we have enough" but I reminded them Grandpa didn't want another pet in the house.  So we headed to Walmart and while I was in Walmart the girls discussed with Grandpa where they could keep a guinea pig, by the time I had the groceries in the car they had made a plan and we decided to go back and get Patches!  When we pulled up the girls were so excited they ran inside and by the time I got back to the corner where the guinea pigs were they already had him boxed and his "kit" ready to go lol.
