Ski Bum

  Kabree got to go on her first Ski outing.  Arbon takes the Big Room to Pebble Creek for ski lessons.  Kabree was so nervous and excited!  She did great and loved it!  She did have a bit of drama the last part of the day that broke this Mommies heart but next week will be better. 
  Kabree and Iylie were pretty much attached at the hip the whole day but after lunch their Instructor took them down the bunny hill from the lodge for the first time.  Iylie was falling a lot and Kabree was staying with her and helping her up each time (so proud of her for that).  But half way down the Instructor told Kabree he would stay with Iylie and Kabree should go the rest of the way down and get on the lift.  So Kabree did and when she got to top of hill she waited for a while and never saw Iylie so she went down the hill by herself twice.  The second time she got to the bottom and realized she needed to get back to the lodge.  She only knew how to get to the lodge from the way she came :( so she walked from the bottom of the hill to the lodge!!!  It took her 20-30 min walking up the bunny hill in her ski boots, she was tired, upset she was late, upset she was alone and upset because strangers kept asking her if she was ok but she knew she wasn't suppose to ask strangers for help :(. It was foggy so I guess she didn't realize you could ride the lift and ski to the left to get to the lodge. I was so sad and my heart hurt for her thinking of all that must have been going through her mind.  Mrs. Curry and Brianna were both great about it and Kabree knows that the next 3 weeks will be better!
