We had a 8 a.m. flight so we had to be to the airport by 6 a.m. The girls did great getting up and did awesome going through security and hauling all of their bags through the airport. This was their first time flying or riding shuttle buses so Keagan was a bit nervous but was a trooper! Our flight was great and even landed 35 minutes early! We grabbed our luggage and when we went outside to wait for the car rental shuttle it had just pulled up! We even lucked out with traffic from the car rental to Anaheim!
Disneyland
We got in so early we couldn't check into our hotel yet but we were ok with that and headed right over to Disneyland! This is the girls and I's first time every being to Disneyland and it did not disappoint! Everyone is so happy and friendly you can't help but smile while walking around. Us girls were pretty excited to pick out our"Ears" and had no idea there were so many choices!
Meeting the characters was so much fun for the girls and they were all so amazing to talk to each person that stood in line to meet them. Keagan discovered that her and Cruella De Vil had a lot in common and she was probably their favorite one they talked to the first day.
We had planned ahead of time we would be spending money on Disneyland food because who doesn't want to try everything Mickey Mouse shaped or Disney themed!?! The food was super fun and we quickly discovered it that it was better to get one treat to split between the 4 of us! We ate dinner at Pizza Planet, it was super fun themed but not our favorite food ;).
The little shows in the streets and rides were so fun! The girls liked the Carousel and the Car ride the best. Keagan was very excited about finding the Storybook Land ride that Grandma JoAnn had told her about. Keagan was very excited and told one of the Cast Members at the ride so he gave her a special sticker and let her ride on the front of the boat (not on a seat but literally on the front of the boat), it made Keagans whole day!
