Twin Falls

We decided we were way overdue for a visit to Troy and Wendy's so we packed up and headed for the weekend.  We seriously had the BEST weekend we have had in such a long time!
Kabree wanted to try to catch one of the humming birds!
They also had a couple visitors in the corn...2 deer but we never were able to catch them on camera
On Saturday we took Troy's fishing boat and headed up the river to see the lower falls.  It was BEAUTIFUL!  Seriously the pictures do not do the day justice.  It was the perfect temperature, the water was cool and the view was amazing!  It was a chill day spent with some of our favorite people exploring.
My favorite thing about Twin Falls is that their are just random falls EVERYWHERE!

Kabree was in heaven all day, outside, water, boating, fishing and swimming!
Keagan was pretty excited she got to be between Troy and Wendy

Time to explore and get a closer view of the falls
 There were baby ducks EVERYWHERE!
One thing about this place is there was no shore,
you had about 2 feet to wade in before stepping off a cliff into deep water!

I wish I wouldn't have been to scared to take my nice camera on our adventure, but me and hiking on slippery rocks....not a good combination so these had to do.  Such a pretty place and it was amazing to get up so close....and the sound...one of my favorite sounds is a water fall!

 Wendy and Troy
aka our amazing tour guides for the day

After exploring Troy asked the girls if they wanted to swim, Kabree of coarse said yes, so he took us over to a different shore and Kabree dove in.  She was as happy as could be swimming around.  Keagan took about 15 minutes just walking in the water then she grabbed onto the boat and squats down and touches her bum to the water and yells "Wendy I did it, I did it!"  She was so proud of herself!  She did eventually sit on the rock ledge but she never wanted to "swim".  Zach decided to fish for a bit while the girls played.

Keagan liked sitting in the water but wasn't even considering going over the edge
Kabree tried to pull her in a few times....but Keagan wasn't having it,
she was content just sitting on the ledge!

Luckily Wendy brought us some snacks, these kiddos were starving!
Zach caught a fish but had to throw it back because it didn't make 12"

 Keagan caught her first fish!!!

 These two wore themselves out!
After our river adventure we tried out a new restaurant called Culvers and we are definitely fans now!  We couldn't have asked for a better day, it was perfect weather, a beautiful place and good company!  Thanks for the great weekend Troy and Wendy!
