When The Dad's Away....

    

    It's that time of year again...hunting season, which means Dad's away when ever he's not at work.  What does that mean for us girls...we play!!!  We all love this time of year, Zach for the hunting, Jessi for the baking and the girls because both parents love the fall weather so we pretty much live outside.
    We decided while Zach went on his first round of hunting we would have a cousin sleepover with Hanna and Justice.  We slept in the living room, stayed up way to late watching movies and then stayed up even later playing with glow sticks.  Truth be told this Mommy fell asleep before the kids so I couldn't even tell you when they finally fell asleep!
    The next morning we of coarse watched Saturday morning cartoons and enjoyed our breakfast of Scottish Pull-Aparts.  Then Heather watched the wild kiddos while I got my hair done and then off to Wendys for kids meals and back to Heathers to play the rest of the day!  It was a great way to play while Dad was away!

***On Zach's end of things he said he had a great hunting weekend, he didn't get a deer but he said he had a great day hunting with our 8 (soon to be 9) year old nephew Morgan and he thinks he has found his new hunting buddy!  FYI he had multiple chances but Zach will only shoot if it's a big one ;)!
