New Hair

Keagan has been so excited to dye her hair blue since December!  So the day after school got out we had our appointments!  She was all smiles the entire time and absolutely loved it!!!  I decided while Keagan was getting hers done I would do some color and cut too!  Kabree decided she wanted something new and asked aunt Laurie to chop hers off!  So we are all sporting something new for the summer but nothing as exciting as Keagan!!

Mrs. Curry's Retirement Party

Before the night program they had Mrs. Curry's retirement party.  I have loved getting to work with her this year.  I got to have Debbie as my Kindergarten aide and I got to be her teachers aide in AF when I was in 8th grade, (I couldn't even venture to count the number of times she gave me a ride home when I was in 7th and 8th grade).  So when she asked me the first of this year if I would consider signing up to be a sub for her classroom I didn't hesitate. Little did either one of know it would end up being a lot more then once in awhile ;).  It has been fun having her teach both Kabree and Keagan and getting even closer to Debbie than I was before!  I have learned so much from her this year and appreciate all she has done for our kids and our little school!  We are all so excited for her to get to start her next great adventure of retirement!

Cheri decided to officially retire in December after her foot injury.  Man I sure love her and think she is so amazing.  I have loved getting to know her so much better this year!  I have really enjoyed our conversations and sure appreciate all she does and has done for our school and valley!

Swimming

For the last day of school; well technically the second to last day of school, the school went swimming at a hotel.  The kids seemed to like it, Keagan broke her goggles so it was a bit rough for her because she needs her goggles to see (they are prescription goggles).  But she made it through it without getting too sick and said she still had fun.

Ground Breaking

Our house it feels like is going no where and we are all getting VERY discouraged!! So I decided we needed to do something to make us feel some excitement and to feel something of "our own".  So we went up to our property and Zach plotted out the house and showed the girls where each room would be, each window and its view.  Then we got a shovel and did a family ground breaking!  It was just what we needed to get us through a the next couple months of waiting.  We know God has a plan and his plan is always what's best but man our family is sure feeling the discouraging end of this trial.  So here is to hope and faith that we are finally on the downhill end of this one!

Foxy

The girls wanted to spend a day with Foxy so they decided to give her some loves by brushing her and spending sometime with her leading her around.  She is such a sweetie and the girls love her!

Keagan wanted to play with a different horse that none of us can remember if its Spot or Dot lol

Hunters Safety

Keagan Completed her Hunters Safety!  She took an online coarse with Zach's help and completed it this May.  She hasn't decided if she will be hunting for deer this Fall or not yet but she is excited that she finished her class!

Blood Moon

I'm awful at remembering or even knowing when cool things are suppose to happen but luckily for me Darrel and Eric always text and remind me because they know I love this kind of stuff!  Wow the Eclipse did not disappoint! These are Eric's pictures because mine did not look nearly as good as his!
