West Yellowstone/Spring Break

  We had a wonderful Spring Break!! Poor Grandpa Vance ended up in the hospital again (this makes #7, this time with pneumonia)  So we started off our Spring break visiting Grandpa Vance and shopping for the week.  

West Yellowstone

  Heather had some points at her time share that were going to expire and asked if we wanted to join her quick get away.  We said of coarse!  While most people went somewhere warm for Spring break we went deeper into the snow, but it was so much fun!!

Sunday

  We made a quick stop at the hospital to visit Grandpa and got to see Libby and Atlas! Then we were off to Idaho Falls to grab our groceries for the trip and grab a quick bite at Zacks pick; Chuck-A-Rama.

  Once we got all checked into our condo and settled in the kids wanted to check out the exercise room, game room and of coarse swim.

Keagan would ride the elevator to try to beat those who did the stairs, 

every time who ever beat would start doing pushups

Monday

  We started our day off at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center.  The kids wanted to recreate some pictures from the last time we came ;). Which upon looking back, we didn't get quite right lol.  We loved the bears of coarse and they were more playful than we had expected with all the cold weather and snow!  Then we went to see the wolves who were a little more docile and curled up, trying to stay warm!  The otters were very active since we caught them right at feeding time! 

We walked the main street but discovered pretty much the whole town is shut down for winter still except a few little shops.  We did find a bar open that we were able to try buffalo burgers for those that wanted to.

The old candy shop is now a modern candy shop :(

Then we went to Big Gun Fun and the kids got to shoot.  I've never been to a shooting range of any kind so it was kind of fun to see how it all works and experience it for the first time.

  After that we went back to the condo for more swimming and board games.

The girls did win once ;)

Tuesday

    We loaded up and headed home to grab some KFC and ice cream along the way for Grandpa Vance's birthday!  We are so grateful for Grandpa and all he does for us and glad we got a day to celebrate him!

The rest of spring break

  Katie brought her kiddos out for a couple days, which we always love to visit and load up on snuggles!  We got to enjoy, movies and sleeping in.  We took Grandpa to a Dr appointment a day so he took us out to breakfast at Butterburs afterwards with Justice and Heather.  The volleyball net went up and there was lots of 4 square and volleyball played.  As always it goes way too fast and makes us soo anxious for summer!!  But we loved every minute of it and all the time spent together and all the fun and sunshine soaked up!
