Go, Fight, Win!

Cheer competitions!  We got to go to two cheer competitions and they were so much fun!  We never knew that cheer was such a fun sport!  First of all Wow!  AF cheer parents are amazing!  They show up and they come decked out in red, white and black and ready to "cheer" (literally)!  We learned that cheer teams get extra points for crowd participation FYI.  One cheer parent is over bringing the Beaver hats and one cheer parent is over bringing the pom, poms, who ever gets there first saves a whole section for the rest of the AF crowd and there is a huge AF crowd that comes!  Zach and I go to lots of AF sporting events for volleyball, basketball, football, ect to watch Kabs cheer or support her friends at away games.  Usually a few parents can make it for away game.  But holy smokes I think maybe 1-2 cheerleaders parents are all that can't make it otherwise both parents (Dads and Moms, plus siblings) are all there for every cheer event!

Cupids

Our first cheer competition!  This one got us out the gate and made us realize we needed to clean up a few routines before districts.  But WOW was it so much fun!  Probably the funnest one of the whole year!  Keagan loved all of the vendors, food, bow and shirt vendors!  Heather, Kieley Packer and Iylie Williams all came to watch Kabs.  Heather did take Keagan back to her house because this one was a super long competition.  The MC was so much fun!  Two of our cheer moms tied for being the best audience participants!  While the girls waited for results they had a glow party/dance.  In the end we took 2nd to Sugar City in everything!

Rumble In the Jungle

Our second cheer competition!  We were ready to go this time around and the girls really did amazing!  Wendy came and hung out with us for the day!  They ended up taking 1st in Show and Sideline and 2nd in Pom and 1st overall!  After this competition we went out to eat with Wendy to Johnny Carino's and then spent the night at their house.  It was a pretty fun weekend!
