Utah Trip

Zach's work has been a bit crazy lately and we have needed some much needed time just the 4 of us.  Heather offered to see if her Timeshare had any openings and she got us a killer deal at Wolf Creek Lodge.  It was seriously amazing!  The girls would have been happy just staying in the condo the whole time; to be honest next time we probably will just do that!  It was super nice and  huge, the pools were amazing, Zach enjoyed the disc golf coarse, they had corn hole, tether ball, tennis courts, basketball courts and a golf coarse.
We left on Sunday and visited one of my closest friends Cassie from High School.  The girls were super stressed about the visit because it has been several years since we have seen the Rudds and they were worried it would be boring or awkward.  But within 10 minutes the kids were playing like best friends.  I forget how much I truly love our friendship with Jason and Cassie until we spend a day with them.  One minute the four of us are laughing and joking, the next we all have tears in our eyes sharing our heart aches and then right back to joking again. It does help that they might be the only other couple we know that has every episode of Friends memorized and casually quotes it in all conversations ;).

Monday we headed to the Hill Air Force Museum.  Zach has always wanted to go so this was the only thing he really wanted to do.  Zach and Kabree really enjoyed it, Keagan...struggled a bit but was able to use her new camera so that helped. After the Museum we headed to Chic-Fil-A and then the mall for the girls to ride the escalators and check out the toy store.  Then we headed back to the Lodge for a couple hours of swimming.

Tuesday Zach and I went to a 2 1/2 hour Timeshare spill so we could get a $75 gift card.  While we did that the girls were getting loaded up on drinks, treats, movies and games in the room next door.  Then we headed to Boondocks to spend the gift card ;).  We have always been curious about Boondocks when we have drove by so the girls were pretty excited to check it out!  The girls loved it and we spent 7-8 hrs there.  They had Miniature Golf, Batting cages, Bumper Boats, Go Carts, Bowling, Roller Ball, Laser Tag, 3D rides and arcade games that were all included in their $20 Tuesday deal.  We were feeling pretty ahead of the game until we caved and bought a giant soda for $4 ;) but our large pizza was only $10 so we feel like it evened out ;).
