4th of July

We had a great 4th of July this year.  Grandma Sally made the girls cute sun dresses, which were perfect for the heat!  We started the day off with going to the parade with Heather and her kids, Grandma Jane, Janel and Catherine and their kids.  It was SUPER hot but the kids still loved it!  After the parade we met the Snyders to watch Despicable Me 3, such a fun movie.
After a couple hours down time, we met back up with Heather and her kids for  BBQ and fireworks at their house.  We let the kids light off some smoke bombs, grow worms, sparklers and snaps.  Then we watched the city ones from Heather's yard.  It was the perfect way to end the night!
I'm so grateful for the Country I live in and the City we live in.  We are so blessed to have our freedom and to have a safe place to live.  We have amazing neighbors, schools and churches, I'm so humbled that we get to enjoy these blessing because others have made it possible through their hard work and sacrifices.
