Happy Love Day!

With a house of girls Valentines day is a week long event!  First off in the week we made our Valentines for our cousins and friends!  Keagan was very excited during a visit to the dollar store when she found Valentine cards for both her and Kabree to pass out.  She picked Disney Fairies for her and picked Monster High for Kabree.

Keagan was very excited writing her cards to her cousins,
especially for her "Pooper" (Kooper)
Kabree got to do 2 kinds of cards this year!
She picked Whoopee Cushions for her school party and Monster High for her dance class & cousins.

Kabree saw me looking on Pinterest a day and happened to see this Whoopee cushion idea for a Valentine.  She got all excited and begged that I let her do it for her Valentines this year.  Needless to say all of Kabree's class mates thought it was pretty great!
FYI it took a VERY long time for her to fill out her 25 Valentines for her class
Kabree was very determined that she needed to write every letter of her name a different color!
Valentine crafts are always a must for our house.  I showed Kabree several ideas off Pinterest for her to pick for us to do at her school Valentines party and this is what she picked, Fruit Loop, heart necklaces.  Keagan was not feeling 100% the day of the party so Heather had to take a late lunch and hang out with her and Justice while I went to do Kabree's school party.  But we made sure Keke and Justice got to make their craft in the morning.

Kabree's favorite part of "Valentine's Day" (well technically the Friday before : ) was getting home and opening all of her Valentine's from her friends and her cousins!!!  Keagan was so excited that she got some too (Thank you Heather and Jessica for thinking of her).  They loved their cards so much that they kept them and put them all in their treasure boxes so they can look at them everyday!

With our house being tore up and still with a constant stream of workers in and out we decided to bag our annual Valentine cookies.  However, Grandma Sally invited the girls up to her house to bake and decorate with her.  The girls loved it and we quickly realized that instead of everyone helping all at once that maybe we should let Kabree help with a batch and then let Keagan help with a batch.  Kabree likes to bake and be a helper but Keagan LOVES it! She could have helped Grammy all day! Both girls loved rolling out the dough and pressing the cookie cutters into the dough but their favorite part was the decorating!  Keagan was obsessed with the sprinkles!  Grandpa Gary had to give her a hand to keep the sprinkles in somewhat of a check ; ).  Keagan had to sprinkle some of every kind of sprinkles on each cookie!!!

 Daddy helped out too!

Needless to say we LIKE sprinkles!!!
Valentine's Day
On actual Valentine's day we sadly kept it very low key due to our house situation and all the work we are trying to get done and wrapped up also the fact that poor Keke was still not 100%!  But Zach did make us heart shaped french toast for breakfast and he did get each of us girls a rose and a Florence Chocolate (Mommy might have got 4 ;)!  The girls were very excited over their roses but Keagan got a little too excited and ripped hers apart trying to "smell it".

We love Valentines day and all the fun it brings.  Even though it was not as exciting or celebrated this year as we usually do we still had a great Valentines and were reminded of all the amazing people we have in our lives to love!!!
