So I'm a little behind but we had a reunion for Zach's family a couple weekends ago. They did a trap shoot on Friday night, which Kabree HATED the ear muffs but HATED the ear plugs even more. Then we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, which Zach LOVES, so he was a very happy camper. This was Kabree's first real camping trip, were we stayed in a tent. She did pretty good sleeping between her Mommy and Daddy. We had a very yummy breakfast the next morning but then we headed out to Arbon for valley party Jessica was over.

They had lots of games and yummy food, but Kabree just wanted to run around like the wild little monkey she is. She did get very excited over the hay ride though. She was very happy to sit on Grandpa Vance's lap up front. We had a very fun weekend and it was great to see all of our families.

Kabree has become obbessed with my necklaces lately, I even went and bought her some, but she still has to have mine. She stacks them all on her little neck and runs around the house laughing. If I tell her no more necklaces because she is being to rough she runs to the bedroom throws them in the drawer and runs back into the hall like what necklaces, I didn't have them.

I have taken Kabree out to my parents to run through the sprinkler and play in the water with cousins

she loves it and would stay outside all day playing in

the water. Summer has been so much fun this year with Kabree. She gets so excited to play in the water, to ride the horses, pretty much anything makes this little girl excited as long as it's outside.

We decided to pack up and head to Troy and Wendy's for 4th of July weekend, Heather and her kids decided to as well. It was the perfect temp all weekend and as always we had a blast. We just hung out Friday night; well I did, Zach went in to lay Kabree down and never came back (he fell asleep). Then Saturday us girls did a little shopping :), don't worry when we got back the guys went and dug ditches :). We brought back pizza so they weren't to upset. Of coarse I made Whit and Wendy let me try out some new designs on their toes. That night we grilled some hot dogs and played with some fire works. Cayleb and JT showed they are defiantly Wards and they did most of the lighting of fire works. I'm happy to report no close calls this year.

Zach gave Kab's a few snaps to throw on the ground and she thought that was pretty neat. She also got to hold her first sparkler, she was very excited even though she was so tired. She did get a little too excited and almost lite Whits hair on fire :). I don't think people believe me when I say how active and full of personality Kabree is.

Sunday we slept in and drove home, we decided to stay home and put Miss Kabree to bed, she's had a long week. We had such a fun weekend and hope everyone else did as well.

Kabree's First Big Owie!

Well we knew it was bound to happen as busy as Kabree is but it was still a very sad day for us. Kabree has been in a little monkey stage lately, she climbs EVERYTHING! Last Thursday afternoon Kabree decided to climb my coupon box (which by the way is only about 18 inches tall. However, after 5 times of her Mommy telling her to get down and her calmly climbing down the last time when Mommy said Kabree Lee (I guess adding the middle name did it) she decided to live up to her nickname of Little Miss Personality be silly and stand up and give a little jump before getting off. But, because she is only 14 months her landing skills aren't quit fine tuned yet and her landing was slippery. This caused her to fall backwards and hit the metal corner of our base board heater. At first I thought it just scared her but once I picked her up I could see all the blood, so luckily for us Daddy had just got home and we rushed off to the doctor. The Doctor was great and really nice about every thing and didn't even act a little annoyed that Mommy was almost sobbing during the staples.

Lucky for us it was only 3 staples which her hair covers and everything else was great. And yes of coarse with our little busy bee the second we got home she promptly ran over to the box and climbed it again. Then the next day proceeded to climb the table, the piano and well lets just leave it at everything.
