Decorating Easter Eggs

 Keagan was not impressed

Keagan liked to color the eggs with crayons
Hanna liked coloring them with crayons too
Justice liked to use his hands instead of the hook
 Checking the egg
Kabree trying out the shaving cream
Keagan liked mashing the egg...but she did not like eating it

We were a bit behind this year with decorating eggs so we did it Saturday night.  Hanna and Justice joined us for the fun.  We decided to try out several different techniques this year, we had traditional colors, neon colors, crayons, stickers and we tried shaving cream.  The kids had fun trying them all out.  Keagan wasn't a huge fan of coloring them but she did enjoy mashing the egg up after we peeled it for her..eating it however was a different story, she did not like it at all.

Keagan was wore out!

Saturday Heather and Matt hosted a family Easter party.  Friday night Heather and I stuffed over 400 eggs and Heather and her kids hid them all Saturday morning before the party.  Unfortunately Zach and I had a close friend pass away so we were only able to attend the first 20 minutes which lucky for us was the egg hunt.  All the kids had a lot of fun, even Keagan got excited about hunting for eggs.  Both Keagan and Kabree were lucky enough to find golden eggs which meant that later on during the party they got to pick from the big prizes.  After the hunt Zach and I left but the girls got to stay and have fun with everyone else.  They got to enjoy yummy food, jump on the tramp and just run wild outside with cousins.  As you can see by the time we got back we our kiddos exhausted from all the fun.  We are so glad that we got to see the egg hunt and that we have such a great family willing to watch our kids so that they could enjoy their cousins.

Keagan loved playing with the toy dishes

Wednesday of spring break my Mom and I decided to make a trip to Idaho Falls for some shopping and a quick stop at the Museum.  We figured with Kabree's horse fascination that she would LOVE the carousel exhibit.  Well she loved to ride the carousel but she wasn't to sure what she thought about walking around and looking at horses that you couldn't ride or touch.  Both girls did LOVE the kid section of the museum though.  Keagan had a blast running around exploring everything, she especially liked the pots and pans.  Kabree liked the computer games and the elevator.  She actually coned Grandma into riding it up and down several times before we headed out.

Random

Justice, Kabree and Hanna playing with Easter eggs

Kabree, Hanna and Justice asked if they could play with Easter eggs, they entertained themselves for 2 hours playing with them.  They took turns hiding them, they would sort them, count them, pretend they were their babies...who knew Easter eggs were so much fun? : )

These are just random pictures of my cute little Keagars smiles!  She LOVES the camera and usual tries to grab it but at least you get a smile before she catches it ; ).  She LOVES Grandpa Vances I Pad  she is so curious how she can see pictures of kids but yet there is nothing behind it, she flips it over then looks and flips it over again.  It's pretty cute how curious she is : ).
