Keagan, Grandpa Vance, Grandma JoAnn & Kabree
Keagan and Grandpa enjoying the candy!
Kabree wanted to see if she could find any deer
Grandpa let the girls play games on his phone
Kabree has been missing her Grandpa Vance and her Grandma JoAnn and phone calls just weren't enough this week. Also we had someone offer us a treadmill so we decided we would visit for a bit. Kabree was so excited when we told her she asked to hurry and call Grandpa on the phone and she asked him if he wanted her to wear her Halloween costume : ). So we loaded up our costumes and a few treats to share and headed to Arbon. The girls thought it was so funny to hurry and put their costumes on in the car and to ring the doorbell at Grandpa and Grandmas instead of just going in through the back door : ). They thought it was even better when they got treats! Keagan was so excited she turned and tried to take off for the next house : ). After showing off our costumes we changed back into our regular clothes and enjoyed the rest of the day with Grandpa and Grandma. They loved sharing their candy (way too much was eaten), Keagan liked trying the candy first and if she didn't like it she would feed it to Grandpa. We discovered Keagan does not like the cheese that squirts out of a can and she couldn't scrap her tongue off fast enough. So she decided it was fun to squirt it in a bowl and feed it to Grandpa. Grandpa got his binoculars out to check out some deer and then let Kabree use them for awhile, she thought that was the funnest thing ever and probably could have played with them for hours. Grandma made some frosting and we had brought our left over sugar cookies so we each had to decorate and eat one. Then Grandpa and Grandma let them play with their cell phone, ate lunch together and watched a movie. The girls were in heaven and then Larin and Jessica and their kids came over and made their day even better. They got to share more candy and Kabree even got to go play at Larin's house for a bit and Aunt Jessica gave her "orange chocolate" (hot tang : ). It was a much needed laid back day with family and we feel so lucky to live so close that we can visit often.
