Cheer/Drill Banquet

We had the end of the year cheer and drill banquet.  It was catered by Pizza Pie, so we had super yummy pastas and salad and then the yummiest cupcakes.  It was fun to watch the recap video of such a great year and as always fun to hear the coaches little poems about each girl.  They teased coach Hailey that she couldn't sleep with the banner anymore so one of the Mom's had crocheted her a blanket that looked just like the state banner.  She even had the kids each sign a ribbon to tie on to the blanket.  We ended the night with them signing the official State Banner. Such a fun night to end a great year!

This is the real banner she took to bed the night after they won state :)

Easter

Easter is my favorite holiday but unfortunately this year it was very chaotic, nothing went as planned and it was a little harder to to get in the Easter spirit. However, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for my Savior and Heavenly Father and felt very aware that they knew me, knew my struggles and loved me. We got to spend Easter in the new house! The girls got to find Easter eggs among boxes and chaos but they didn't mind. We listened to General Conference while we dyed Easter eggs, it was great to be able to hear the prophet speak. We did ham and funeral potatoes for dinner and took it down to Grandpa and Grandma's and ate with them. Then we came back up to the house to make our Resurrection rolls as a family.

Moving Day

To say moving was chaotic would be an understatement ;)!  Due to all of the stress of the prior week (month or so) I had shut down and couldn't think to save my life but thankfully for me I have an amazing family that jumped in and without being asked started packing, loading and hauling everything.  Jessica helped the girls pack their things and the kitchen.  Larin, Cayleb and Eric just started hauling everything out from the house and the storage container.  Heather came and packed with Jessica and helped unpack at the new house.  Wyatt and Kabree's friend Travis helped load and unload as well but they were great to help the girls put together bedframes, desks anything they could.  Gary and Sally came and jumped in, as well as Shawn where they could (They have bad backs and Gary did way more then he should have!). Vance and JoAnn wished they could have been there, but with Vance's surgery just having been done and health concerns it was better to be away.

The second day Wendy and Whitney came and started helping finish pack the rest of the little house and helped finish unpacking bedrooms and the kitchen. I had forgotten to take pictures the second day in all the chaos. Larin, Jessica, Wyatt, Eric and Heather helped the second day as well.

The girls found all of their old Valentines boxes, Piggie banks, school projects
they made and wanted to keep in storage
