Moving Day

To say moving was chaotic would be an understatement ;)!  Due to all of the stress of the prior week (month or so) I had shut down and couldn't think to save my life but thankfully for me I have an amazing family that jumped in and without being asked started packing, loading and hauling everything.  Jessica helped the girls pack their things and the kitchen.  Larin, Cayleb and Eric just started hauling everything out from the house and the storage container.  Heather came and packed with Jessica and helped unpack at the new house.  Wyatt and Kabree's friend Travis helped load and unload as well but they were great to help the girls put together bedframes, desks anything they could.  Gary and Sally came and jumped in, as well as Shawn where they could (They have bad backs and Gary did way more then he should have!). Vance and JoAnn wished they could have been there, but with Vance's surgery just having been done and health concerns it was better to be away.

The second day Wendy and Whitney came and started helping finish pack the rest of the little house and helped finish unpacking bedrooms and the kitchen. I had forgotten to take pictures the second day in all the chaos. Larin, Jessica, Wyatt, Eric and Heather helped the second day as well.

The girls found all of their old Valentines boxes, Piggie banks, school projects
they made and wanted to keep in storage

The House Is On Fire

What started out as a normal steak grilling night, end up turning into chaos. I was able to grill some steaks for everyone, get them delivered and as I sat down to eat mine with Kabree she smelt smoke. My instant reaction was to run and check the grill, only to find the old particle board siding on fire behind the grill. Apparently there was some spark that got on the siding and when the right wind gust came through it lit it all up. I ran to get the hose connected and started spraying the water about that same time I realized that Larin had seen that same fire, grabbed his hoses and was coming to help. We were able to get it put out quickly so it didn't penetrant the house. We were all left riling after the fire and the house was full of smoke.

We were so lucky to have family close by and willing to jump in an help in a moments notice. It was so great that the girls had some where to stay that night (Larin and Jessica's), so they weren't in the smoke filled room. Also they were a little shook up and were not willing to sleep there. Jessi was at the ER with her dad, so that was a fun phone call to make. But I was so grateful that it was only to say the siding burned and everyone and most things were all ok. So grateful for the tender mercies and people supporting us.

Spring Break

Spring break started off with vaccinating horses, Grandpa's birthday party, chilling a day, Keagan had a friend hang out/shopping day, Kabree got a friend hang out/shopping day, we did a family shopping day in Layton, the girls did a craft/chore day and we ended with Heather's Easter party! It was crazy, went way to fast...just like the rest of our lives but that's ok we got to spend lots of time with family and we loved it!

Heather's Easter Party

As always Heather out does herself and hides hundreds of eggs plus her golden eggs for everyone!!  From 0-78 has so much fun hunting eggs to visiting and enjoying what ever treat she has gotten everyone that year.  This year she got Amazing Glaze donuts...yummy!  Afterwards a bunch of us headed to Costco for some pizza and of coarse a quick shopping trip ;).
