Christmas Eve

Ok seriously BEST Christmas Eve yet!!!  We loaded the Blue Beast to the brim, grabbed Chinese food and headed for Arbon.  We all stuffed ourselves and enjoyed some stories (Shawn and Grandma always have a good story to tell ;).  Then a group of us played Sneaks for 2 hours!  Seriously we were yelling and laughing so hard, Eric and I had head aches and I was hoarse.  After that Grandpa asked us to play a few rounds of Go Fish with him.  Then it was time to get going on dinner, steak, cesar salad, garlic shrimp, rolls and banana cake.
After a yummy dinner with Grandpa and Grandma and Shawn's family, Kabree played her Christmas recital song on the piano for everyone and Keagan showed everyone her Christmas recital dance. Then Grandma told the Nativity story and we ended with Silent Night.  Then it was time for more wild games!  My girls LOVE spending Christmas Eve in Arbon because of this!!!  Grandpa and Grandma got into the games too and we were all laughing and exhausted by 9 p.m.  The plastic wrap game was hilarious and I did not get the best pictures because it was so intense haha.  Eric and Ethan are way more competitive than I realized!  Eric killed it in the candy cane pick up game, Grandma and I tried a different approach, that proved to be unsuccessful haha.  Grandpa and Grandma by far dominated the reindeer game, poor Shay was with me so she didn't have a chance.  We ended with Keagan's favorite Christmas game "Don't Eat Rudolph".
Then it was time to set out the cookies for Santa and watch a Christmas movie.  About 4 a.m. Kabree woke up and said "Mom, I hear something...I think it's Santa" and you know what I heard it too and we even saw him make a dash down the hall ;)!!!  Kabree quickly went back to sleep but I was up for the day!  Even though I was exhausted I sure love late night talks with my Dad ;).

 Mom & I had a different approach...
bulldoze your face to try and get some, we didn't do very good lol

Grandpa Vance and Grandma JoAnn killed in this game, they won hands down.

Kabree tricked Eric in this game and was so proud of herself.  He looked at her to see if she would give any signs and she looked at him and shook her head to not eat a certain one so he moved to the next one which was "it" so he was out of the game, she couldn't stop laughing.

"Hey Santa..."

These girls LOVE going to Zach's ICCU kids Christmas party, Santa, cookies and milk, the Polar Express movie and a Christmas craft!

Picnic Under The Christmas Tree

The girls have talked non stop about having a picnic under the Christmas tree since we did it last year.  Thank you Aunt Kira for the super fun idea that we will now have be our tradition too!  Once again we are so lucky that we live so close to family and that Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sally were able to join us for our picnic.  The girls picked out all the food and were very excited all day and LOVED that Grandpa and Grandma came too!  They were super excited when they saw that Grandpa and Grandma brought their Christmas presents too!!!

Baking Cookies

Our girls are so lucky to have so many amazing, wonderful people that love them.  My girls have more Grandparents than most and they are all such a blessing in our lives!  We have Zach and I's parents, their "adoptive" Grandparents (Grandma Jane and Grandma Diane) and their biological Grandparents.  The girls feel loved by each and every single one and love all of them to pieces!!!  We got to spend a few hours with Grandma Cindi and Grandpa Mark.  They got spoiled rotten from the time we walked in the door. The girls loved seeing their house and playing with their toys.  They were pretty excited that Grandma Cindi let them show her how they make their favorite (and only kind Kabree will eat) pizza.  Grandma Cindi sewed them each aprons to wear while they baked and decorated cookies.  Keagan was in absolute heaven the whole time!  Then they got to open their gift from them, an American Girl doll Retro Dinner!!! Needless to say they girls played with that the rest of the time we were there!
Seriously, are those not the cutest aprons you have ever seen!?!

Cousin Party

Since Heather and I's kids spend literally 6 of the 7 days of the week together we always have a little gift exchange with them every year.  These kids are so close they love each other like siblings, which means they also fight like siblings at times ;).  I love that they are always sad if they go a day without seeing each other and I love that they are always thinking about the other two.  If we go to a movie as a family Kabree and Keagan stress Hanna and Justice will feel bad they didn't go with us.  Justice and Hanna are always asking Heather if she got Kabree and Keagan a treat or a toy too when she brings them home surprises.   This year due to Heathers sore neck and back we decided to have our party at her house.  Jordan and Cleo joined us as well.  The kids played, we ate and we exchanged gifts.  It was perfect just like always!
