Happy Birthday Kabree

  Kabree's birthday was different this year too do to social distancing.  She was super excited to get on Google Hangouts with her friends and have them wish her a happy birthday!  Larin's crew was amazing sports again and braved the weather to help make Kabree feel special!  This time it was cold, blowing and raining!! 
  Kabree makes life so much easier, she is always willing to help anyone and always gives 100%. We love our beautiful, sassy Kabs and the world is better with her in it!

Happy Birthday Keagan

  Keagan had a very unique birthday this year!  She shared her birthday with Easter and it was a little tricky with social distancing (tired of hearing that line yet ;) but everyone was AMAZING sports about it for our Kiki and it made her day awesome!
  Who knows what time Keagan woke up this year, I was dead to the world until 7:30 A.M. and she was very excited to get up and run through her streamers!  As you can tell from the pictures she was very excited about all of her gifts and couldn't wait to start using them!
  I know I say it every year but life really is funner with Keagan in it!  She radiates excitement, pretty much all the time!  We sure love our beautiful, spunky Kiki and the world is better with her in it!

Easter

Dying Eggs
  Friday evening Grandma JoAnn and I dyed eggs with the girls while Zach worked on dinner.  The girls decided they wanted to draw faces on their eggs and went for the Inside Out characters faces and colors.

  Saturday morning at a out 8:30 A.M. we heard honking and went outside to see the BEST surprise ever!!!  Heather and her kids (except J.T.) egged our house and Larin's.  It was so fun for the girls and we loved visiting with them from 10 ft away ;).  They even left the girls giant "Birthday" eggs since we won't be able to celebrate with them this year.

Resurrection Rolls 
  Still one of our favorite things to do every Easter is to make Resurrection rolls and read of Christ's Resurrection in the scriptures.  Eric and Alyssa had never heard of them before so we invited them to join us this year.

Easter Morning
  The Easter Bunny found us and left us lots of yummy, sugary treats! Easter morning was met with LOTS of excitement especially since Keagan shared her birthday with it this year!  It was a little bitter sweet to have "Home" church this week but we had a wonderful talk on Holy Week and enjoyed the spirit singing time brought to our home.

  For the Little Room's Fancy Friday the Big Room had Picture Day.

Conference Weekend

  General Conference was a little more peaceful and meaningful this year.   Because of the pandemic things have been stressful and lots of things are uncertain. Listening to the words of the Prophet and his apostles brought so much comfort.  My testimony has been reaffirmed countless times in the last month.  Our prophet truly communes with God, things that the church has done in the last 18 months, the Come Follow Me program for example, how can you deny that God had a hand in that?!? 
  I snuck a couple of Grandma JoAnn's sketches before she caught me ;)

Crazy Hair Day

  The Little Room decided to make things a little more fun in the homeschool department and decided Fridays would be dress up days!  First one up was crazy hair day...even Grandma JoAnn decided to join in on the fun!

Limited number of people inside stores, therefore, lineups outside the store doors.

Non-essential stores and businesses mandated closed.

Parks, trails, entire cities locked up.

Entire sports seasons cancelled.

Concerts, tours, festivals, entertainment events - cancelled.

Weddings, family celebrations, holiday gatherings - cancelled

Churches and temples are closed.

No gatherings of 50 or more, then 20 or more, now 10 or less.

Don't socialize with anyone outside of your home.

Children's outdoor play parks are closed.

Shortage of masks, gowns and gloves for our front-line medical workers.

Shortage of ventilators for the critically ill.

Panic buying sets in and we have no toilet paper, no disinfecting supplies, no paper towels, no laundry soap and no hand sanitizer.

Shelves are bare.

Manufactures, distilleries and other businesses switch their lines to help make visors, masks, hand sanitizer and PPE.

Government closes the border to all non-essential travel.  

Fines are established for breaking the rules.

Stadiums and recreation facilities open up for the overflow of Covid-19 patients.

Press conferences daily from the President.  

Daily updates on new cases, recoveries and deaths.

Government incentives to stay home.

Barely anyone on the roads.

People wearing masks and gloves outside.

Essential service workers are terrified to go to work.

Medical field workers are afraid to go home to their families.
