Cookie Party 2015

It was a CRAZY week and an insane day but we made it to our Cookie Party!!!  This year so many people helped; Jessica and Grandma JoAnn made rolls, Heather got all of the paper products and Grandma Jane helped with the cookies.  The girls were dying all week with the smell of cookies and soup filling the house!

Christmas Dresses

These girlie girls were pretty excited about their Christmas dress Grandma Sally and Grandpa Gary gave them!  They have worn them every week since they got them!!!

This beautiful girl is always full of poses and we get a great shot on the first try every time!
This little cutie is a clown and it takes 10 minutes to get a normal pose : )

Hey Santa...

We have definitely got lots of face time with Santa this year!  We have seen him at Zach's work party, our church party, our cookie party, two different malls and Keagan and I ran into him in the hall at Kabree's Elementary school!  I won't lie I'm an awful Mother and only took pictures at my cookie party:(, but Zach's work and our church party both had people taking pictures so we do have some documentation!
Man oh man our little Kiki is SOOOOOO excited every single time she see's him and runs and excitedly tells him exactly what she wants "A Barbie phone, a purse, a mirror, glasses and a card!!!" At Kabree's school she was throwing a bit of a fit walking down the hall and suddenly froze in her tracks when she saw Santa walking towards her lol.  Santa stopped us in the hall and gave her a hug and she was as good as gold the rest of the time there!  Kabree thinks Santa is pretty great too and always gives him a hug when she is done talking to him.  Kabree has stuck to her talking owls request until this last weekend she told me she wrote a letter to Santa to make sure he knew she changed her mind to a Mind Craft book!!!  I told her I think the orders are in and it might be too late for changes but her birthday isn't too far off.

The Nutcracker

Kabree's Grandma Cindi invited us to the Nutcracker.  I have never been and neither had Kabree.  It was amazing and so much fun!!!  Kabree was in heaven being with Cindi, dressing up and she loved the performance.  Cindi let Kabree pick the seats; she picked up in the balcony just shy of the top row ; ).  Kabree thought it was so fun they served cookies at intermission.  Seriously Kabree was on cloud nine, "oh my gosh did you see that...that was amazing....that was awesome..."  We even got to see Kabree's school teacher  Mrs Cranor and Grandma Jane and Hanna sat just a few rows in front of us!!!  Such a fun night!!!  To top it off Cindi gave Kabree a Nutcracker and sent home a Sugar Plum fairy for Keagan!!!  We are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives!!!

Keagan's Christmas Program

Oh my goodness our cute little girl has came out out of her shell in full force!!!  Our once shy little baby has become a very outgoing, loves to perform, sometimes the class clown, little girl!!!  Keagan had her preschool Christmas program and she did great!!!  She wasn't even a little scared!!!  She walked right out on stage searched for us in the audience, waved and yelled "Hi Mommy!"  She sang her little heart out and did all of the actions!  Her and the girl next to her might have had a little bit of a "get in your own space" moment, but it was quickly resolved ; ).  We are so proud of our Kiki and how far she has come in the last year with her speech and not being so shy!!!  She was so excited that Aunt Sissy, Grandma Sally and Grandpa Gary all came to watch her.  We love you Kiki and loved watching you perform!!!

"M is for mistletoe, hug and a kiss!"
 We love our Sissy

Christmas Dance Recital

We had our Christmas dance recital and it went great!!!  I will say getting two girls ready for a dance recital definitely made for a BUSY morning but it was full of lots of giggles and excitement too.  It was Keagan's first recital ever and she was SUPER excited!!!!  Because our dance studio is so big we we had two shows and of coarse our girls ended up in different ones!!!  So our day started at 8 a.m. doing hair and make up and ended at 7:30 p.m. with Taco Bell and baths.

Kabree performed in the first show of the day!  She is LOVING dance as always, she loves her teacher Ms. Rachel and being with her bestie Mae!  Kabree has improved so much this year and it was so fun to watch her perform, she did great!!!

Keagan was in the second show of the day.  This little kiddo asked if she was up next after every single dance!!!  It was a super long day for a 3 year old but she did great!!!  We were a little worried Keagan would be too scared to perform once she got on stage but BOY WERE WE WRONG!!! Once she got on stage; before they turned the lights on, she started yelling and waving "Hi Mommy!"  Then once the lights came up she performed her little heart out!!!  Keagan LOVED it!!!  She has loved her teacher Ms. Krystal, her new little friends and dance and this recital was the icing on the cake!

Our usual crew, Justice, Kiki, Kabree and Hanna
We LOVED watching these girls dance today, though it was a long day it was worth it!!!  I was so proud of these girls and how great they did.  It was a great way to kick off the dance season!  We are so lucky to have two of our cousins; Hanna and Lynden, do dance with us, it makes it so fun to have cousins (and other dance moms) to hang out with!!!  Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sally were able to come watch too.  I'm so grateful Grandma JoAnn was able to come and spend the WHOLE day with me!!!  It was a super LONG day and we only got a 20 minute lunch break and my Mom stuck it out with me!!!  She saved seats, got treats, fed kids, ran with me and supported our girls!!!  We are so lucky we have her!

The most wonderful time of the year!!!

The girls were so excited for Thanksgiving to see cousins but because they knew what came the next day...Christmas time!!!!  You should have seen their little faces when they saw all the snow Thanksgiving morning!!!  Needless to say these girls were over the moon when Sunday we pulled out all of the Christmas totes.  Keagan has been begging to watch Christmas movies so she was very happy to find them in the totes.

They seriously danced and jumped around for 30 minutes
when we first turned on the Christmas music
Gary and Sally gave us an artificial tree several years ago but Zach and I both love real trees and have never caved....until Cleo!!!  We are both a little worried about our 130lb fur baby and the tree as it is so we decided to go artificial this year!  Which the girls were super excited about because that means our tree goes up a week earlier!!!  We decided to do our tree in stages, first we would put it up and the lights.  Then we would decorate it the next day to maybe relieve Cleos stress a bit.  Seriously they aren't kidding when they say Great Danes are BIG BABIES!!!

The girls love this nativity and seriously play with it everyday
Cleo was anxious of all of the decorations

Cleo needed a little extra loves...the tree stressed her out!!!
Round 2 of decorating putting the decorations on the tree.  As we had predicted the decorations stressed Cleo out and she ate the buttons off the tree skirt!!!

They were so proud of their decorating!!!

After round 2 Cleo did great for a couple days until we added the kids homemade foam ornaments. Apparently sparkles and glitter are a threat to the family and Cleo chewed them to pieces :(.  Which made this Mommy and two little girls very sad.  She has done great since thus said incident so we are hoping that's the end of that!
So we are officially ready to bring on Christmas and all the fun!!!
