Rub-A-Dub-Dub 2 Pets In A Tub

This smokin hot man of mine knows the way to my heart and knows when I'm stressed I can't sit still and that having things as clean and organized as possible is the way to my heart!  So this guy took on the job (without being asked I might add) of bathing both our pets!
Cleo was first up for bath time and was not at all sure what she thought about it!  Considering how nervous she was she did great!  We are just taking advantage of the fact she fits in our tub right now!
Poor Miss Cleo wasn't so excited about her first bath!

Don't those puppy dog eyes just kill you?!
KeKe giving Cleo some comfort and extra love

 Next up...Daisy!!!

This is her EXTREMELY irritated face!

Both pets got bathed with no major incidences however, both Cleo and Daisy hid from us the rest of the day.  Daisy hid under Zach and my's bed while Cleo hid under the girls bed : )!

Happy Sweet 16 Shay!

All pretty!

Kimberly planned a day for all of us girls to celebrate Shay's sweet 16!  We started out with lunch and Buffalo Wild Wings and then headed to get manicures.  It was great to spend a day with most of the girls and to celebrate our beautiful Shay!

Introducing Cleo

After a lot of research and lots of debating we decided it was time to add a baby of the fur variety to our family.  Introducing Cleo!

 Seriously that face!!!!

 Cleo with her Mommy Elli

Soooo, as always with Zach and I there is a crazy story to go along with our bringing home this beautiful "little" girl, actually there are 2!  Let's fast forward to December, we have been doing lots of research on what breed of dog would be the best fit for our family.  After reading every thing known to man about the different breeds of dogs, talking to multiple friends who own Great Danes, and talking to our vet we knew a Great Dane was the breed for us.  During this time we were in contact with a breeder named Heidi, asking her TONS of questions!  For a full week we communicated back and forth with her about Great Danes, this particular puppy and it's parents.  At 10:30 p.m. We decided to go for it and Zach was going to be contacting Heidi the next morning.  The next morning we showed the girls this puppies pictures and even a video of her playing, needless to say the girls were so excited!  Zach text Heidi asking how to go about making a deposit.  I asked Zach do you got this or should I do it, he says no worries he will do it right when we hang up.  But then Zach got busy at work and by the time he text her back to say we needed her bank info to send the deposit someone else had beaten us to it by 30 minutes!!!!  We were devastated!  Disclaimer here for Heidi when Zach text her he didn't say we want the puppy how do we go about making deposit he just said how do we do it.  Also disclaimer for Zach he was really going to make deposit right as we hung up but a work emergency came up right then.  Back to story, we were soooo bummed but decided it must not be meant to be.  Zach asked Heidi to please let us know if any other puppies fell through.  Heidi contacted us a week later saying one of the male puppies fell through.  He was so cute and it was so hard to say no.  But we had decided we really wanted a female.  Zach started looking into other breeders searching for Great Danes, none of them were what we wanted.  Their heads were too blocky or not the breeding we wanted.  We decided maybe now wasn't the time, but then Heidi text and said they had a change in their family situation and the puppy they had kept for themselves was available!  A blue female!!!!  We of coarse said yes and fell in love instantly!!!  Chleo was Heidi's pick of the litter, she is mellow, beautiful and so sweet!  It was very sad for Elli (Chleo's Mom) and Heidi to say good bye.  ****I guess I should mention Heidi is expecting and experiencing very bad morning sickness was their change in family, so happy news for them not something sad****
So leading into the second story.  We drove down to West Jordan to pick Chleo up.  We invited Heather, Libby, Hanna and Justice to join us in the ride and to get to see Chleo's Mommy (Great Danes are not a common breed in our area).   As I mentioned the family was sad to say good bye to Chleo and once we were in the car on the way home Chleo whined a little (seriously the littlest whimper).  Justice burst into tears sobbing "You guys are jerks!!!, you guys are so rude?"  I asked Justice "Why?"..."Because you took her from her Mommy!".  He seriously sobbed for 15 minutes!!!
On a happier note Chleo did sleep her first night at home with us until 6:30 a.m.!  We are very excited about this new addition to our family and look forward to watching her grow!
