Our letter A coloring pages and Alligators

Uncle Larin showing Kabree how to fly her Airplane

She got her's to do some turns and dives : )

We have started learning our letters and trying to focus on one letter a week.  For our letter A we of coarse did a coloring page with things that started with A learned and sang hundreds of times a letter A song.  We made an Alligator out of our foam letter A.  Zach found some great styrofoam Airplanes at the dollar store so we could fly Airplanes in Arbon.  We ate lots of Apples, Apple sauce, Apple juice, Apple jacks, got and played with our Apple Jack my little pony, watched Ariel (The Little Mermaid : ), visited our Aunt Sissy's, Aunt Jessica's and Aunt Wendy's that week and pointed out lots and lots of A words.  Kabree is loving learning her ABC's and loves all the activities to go along with them : ).

We had a great Fourth of July this year.  We started off with breakfast at Gary and Sallys, we had yummy waffles with blue cool whip and strawberries.  Then we were all off to the parade where we met up with Heather and her gang and Jane and her group and holy cow was it packed and was it HOT!  It was a bit hard on the kids waiting out in the sun that long but they did great!  They didn't get much candy cause they were pretty small compared to the other kids around us Kabree had a very hard time with that, she would get so stinking mad when she didn't get any, but Zach, Megan and Kira stared helping her out so she started getting in on the candy action : ).  Lynden was a clapper as the floats went by and Paisley wanted to hang out in the back with her Daddy where she could play in the rocks.  Kabree loved to clap and wave as the floats went by but she was very excited about the "princess" float, it was her favorite.  After the hour and a half in the hot sun everyone from Zach's family headed out for snow cones.  Kabree of coarse loved it and kept trying to feed Paisley and Lynden tastes of hers.  Zach let Keagan have a taste and I think she was so hot she was just happy to cool off a bit, but not too sure of the taste.  We had a super fun filled Morning with Zach's family and then hurried home to pack and head out to Arbon.

For the afternoon we headed to Arbon for a BBQ of bacon cheese burgers and homemade ice cream.  My Mom made up a new recipe for her ice cream and I must say it was the best homemade ice cream I have ever had.  It was great to get to visit and let the kids run wild.  Larin did water rockets and Wyatt and Kabree thought that was great, they loved running after the pop bottles and bringing them back.  That night we did sparklers and snaps for the kids and Kabree thought that was the best thing ever.  We had so much fun with our families on the fourth and couldn't have enjoyed it more!

Keagan's Birthparents

Keagan's Birthmom Heather
Jesse, Annika, Keagan and Heather

 Jessi and Annika
She loves to take pictures too : )

We got to meet up with Keagan's Birthparents yesterday morning at the park.  It was the first time we have seen each other since placement.  It was great to see them again and I was super excited for them to see how much Keagan has grown and just how cute she really is in person.  She was a pill and a bit fussy but we still enjoyed the visit.  Annika is Heather's 6 year old daughter who brought her camera to take pictures too, I thought that was the cutest thing ever.  We have so much love, respect and gratitude towards Jesse and Heather for placing Keagan with us.  Words could never describe how we feel about them, they are such beautiful people on the inside and out.  We feel so blessed that they came into our lives.
