Kabree's 2nd Birthday

 Kabree see's her Present

 Tearing into the wrapping paper

 It's a kitchen set
 Seeing what's inside

Enjoying her chocolate milk
Since we were celebrating Kabree's birthday on Saturday and not on Friday, her actually birthday we did a few of Kabree's favorite things.  She got to watch her new movie Tangled while laying on Daddy and Mommy's bed eating her favorite breakfast of cereal and chocolate milk.  Kabree got to open one of her gifts from her Daddy and Mommy.  She was so funny, she walked right up to and just started tearing the paper off and looking at the box smiling, it took her a minute to realize it was a kitchen set.  She was very excited until we opened it and realized there was a LOT MORE assembly required then we had anticipated.  It was very hard to be patient while Daddy and Mommy put it together.  We then got all pretty and headed to meet Ad for our 2 year photos.  For lunch we met aunt Sissy (Heather) at Puerto Vallarta, Kabree loves Mexican food, she would live off of rice and beans if we would let her.  Then we headed home for a quick nap and an episode of Backyardigans (her favorite show).  Then we got to eat a couple cupcakes and play in the tub.

Kabree and Craft Time

 Kabree loves to color
Making noodle necklaces with Hanna and Justice
Justice just wanted to play with the string
 Kabree concentrated very hard

They discovered it was more fun to
play with Daisy with the yarn
Zach helping Kabree make play dough jewelry
Kabree showing off her pretty jewelry
 Zach showing off his talent
Jessi's creation, Zach couldn't tell what it
was but Kabree knew it was a horse
Kabree wanted to play with the horse

As you can see, play dough horses don't hold up
 Kabree and Jessi
Kabree has really started to like doing little crafts, which I love!  It is so much fun, we try to do  one crafty thing a day, some days it's just coloring, or play dough but some days we get more creative.  Kabree get's really excited when I ask her if we should do a craft, she will start dancing around and yelling, "craft, craft" or "color, color" : )!  Monday night Zach and I decide to introduce Kabree to play dough for the first time.  She thought it was pretty neat, she kept saying "Mommy, wow, wow, Daddy look".  Zach and I both lack a little in the artistic abilities but Kabree did know that what I was making was a horse : ).  She thought it was  pretty great until she started playing with it and it started falling apart, she would look at us all upset and cry "horsey, look, horsey".  It took me 10 minutes to make it and her 10 seconds to demolish it.

Zach and I had to laugh because my Mom made these super amazing, awesome clay Backyardigans characters for Kabree's birthday cake so we thought we would test our abilities with clay.  Well...lets just say I did not inherit my Mother's artistic abilities : ), good thing I have her.  I cannot wait for Kabree's birthday Friday for her cake and to see how excited she is for her presents we got her!!!!!  We also invited her birthfamily and they said they would come, so Kabree will get to have both sets of her Grandparents and her Birth-grandparents at her birthday party!  Of course Keri and Spencer will be there so we are excited to have all of the special people in little Miss Kabree's life  finally meet each other.

Kabree loves her cousins and is always excited for they days they come to hang out.  Justice and Kabree have started enjoying doing crafts, it's pretty cute to watch them try to follow Hanna's lead and get excited for craft time.

Kabree's New Room

Still cannot decide if I should add the green
ball ribbon that I used on the curtains
Still need to make a new liner
with the right color stitching

Still need to add the vinyl ABC's

Still need to find some 4X6 pictures of Christ for these frames,
harder to find then you would think

The vinyl letters over the closet doors

We still have a few things left to do but I love Kabree's room and I'm so excited of how it turned out!  My friend Ad helped me with the creativity side and even picked up things for me when she made it to a Hobby Lobby : ).  I'm proud to say I did all the sewing (I officially hate making pillows, what a beast to do the nice finished edge, on the quilt too), and I painted and mod podged the blocks Zach did the painting and made the shelf for me.  When we finally get the rest of the house decorated I will post pics of them too, needless to say it's been a crazy couple months but if they all turn out as good as Kabree's room it will be worth it!

Kabree loves Whitney

Kabree loves it when Whit comes to visit, she loves to wear her shoes, play with her cell phone and loves jumping on her bed.  Kabree loves having Whitney sleep on the air mattress in her room so when she gets up she can peek over the side of the crib and see her : ).  Kab is like Whit's shadow, she follows her everywhere and gets very sad and worked up when she can't find Whitney.  We love Whitney very much, and LOVE having her come and are always SAD when she goes!

Grandpa Vance's Birthday

Dad and Mom
Dad getting some sugar on his birthday : )
Dad showing Kabree how to blow out candles
Mattie and Makenna enjoying the ice cream

We got to go and visit my parents for my Dad's birthday, we actually didn't know they were having a little party for him.  I guess Morgan told my Mom that his Mommy would make the cake if they could come over for a birthday party : ).  Mom told him that was ok, she could make the cake and they could still come over for a party : ).  As you can see from some of the pics my families favorite part is the ice cream, we are ice cream junkies.  It was fun to see Dad and Kabree loved having ice cream with the Arbon fam.
My Dad is such a great guy and we love him so much.  He is always thinking of others and helping people in anyway he can.  He has always been a great example to me and is always willing to lend an ear when I need to vent.Kabree loves her Grandpa very much and he is always so good to do things with her and make her feel special when we visit.  We love you Dad and hope you had a great birthday!
