The yummy food, that's what showers
are all about isn't it? : )
Megan's yummy desserts,

The quilt my Mom and Heather helped with

Yesterday we got to have a lunch for Sandra. She is so cute and we are so excited for her and Caleb. I just have to say that I love my family so much because not only did my Mom and Heather help me with the present but Heather came and help me set up for the shower. Then Jessica came to the shower and helped during it, I wish I would have got a pic of her cute little tummy, she is one of those cute pregnant people. I would fail miserable at most things if it wasn't for my amazing Mom, Sis, and sister in-laws, they help me so much.

Megan made such pretty desserts that it was almost sad to see them get eaten, her family is awesome at making pretty food (and it tastes as good as it looks). It was nice to have Zach's family over for lunch and for everyone to get to meet Sandra. Kabree loved having all the company and LOVED that her and the girl cousins got to play in her room the whole time. They were all grins so they had fun what ever they were doing : )!

Thanks Sandra for letting me do the lunch! Caleb is one of my favorite people so I'm so happy that he found Sandra, she's exactly what he deserves, a sweetheart. Congratulations you guys we are looking forward to the wedding!

Spring Break

Kooper

Hanna

Our group for the day

Justice slept most of the day : (

To start the week off, Larin and Heather's kids were both on Spring break so they did some kid swapping which meant that on Monday I got to watch Chase, Hanna, Justice and Kooper. I was so excited because I had gotten these cool little cotton swabs that you snap the top off and the dye flows to the other end making it so you have a marker type tool to color eggs with. I know it was really early for decorating Easter eggs but I thought it would be a fun craft plus the kids all like hard boiled eggs anyways. Hanna and I loved it! Chase did one and thought it was kind of dumb, Kooper did a couple but then realized Chase was going to play the playstation with out him so we lost his interest too. Oh, well Hanna and I had a lot of fun together!

Kabree with her friend Maddux

Big shocker, Kabree trying to escape : )
My roommate Melissa and I rarely get to see each other now that we are both crazy busy with are little kiddos, but we finally got to do lunch this week. It was so nice to get to see each other and catch up. Her little guy Maddux is easy going and mellow as can be, Kabree, well lets just say her polar opposite personality of high energy and squealing at the top her lungs probably traumatized him for life. He never cried he would just look at her with those big, pretty, blue eyes of his and open them even bigger.

This last weekend we got to go up and see Whitney off to prom. Kabree and I got to go watch her get her hair done. Which we lucked out because Kabree slept the whole way up so she was the happiest little girl ever! Then we got to help her get her beautiful dress on, which for anyone who has ever worn a lace up dress knows what it means to help : )! She looked so pretty and it was fun to get to meet Kasey. Zach helped Troy and Cayleb work on Caylebs truck. As always Wendy made us a very yummy dinner. We love spending time with Troy, Wendy and the kids, thanks for having us and for the cute onesie for Kabs.

Busy Week

Whitney and Cayleb were on Spring Break this week so they came down to spend time with family. We were really lucky and got Whitney the whole week. Kabree was in heaven, she loves her cousin Whitney. She follows her every where, loves to play with her phone, snuggle, follow her everywhere, pretty much be attached to her hip. I tried to show Whit how Kabree gives kisses and when I said "Kabree kiss kiss", she turned her head from me, leaned to Whit and gave her a kiss.

It was so nice to have Whitney to keep me company this week and we stayed busy the whole time. We watched Heathers kids Wednesday and Kabree's sister that night. We woke up early Thursday and went to Brigham to see Gina. We got lost, which is embarrassing because it's really easy to get there now that I realized where I turned wrong. We only got to stay a few hours but it was nice getting to visit with her and Shawn for the day. Then we headed to Arbon to meet up with Zach and Cayleb. We got there in time to have dinner with Dad and Mom and to sit in Shawn's hot tub, thanks Mom and Dad for watching Kabree.

The boys headed out early Friday for hunting but got back in time for us to have lunch with Heather. That night we headed to chrome in the dome.

The new D.A.R.E. care
Heathers kids were very excited about it

We didn't get many pictures of this week but we had so much fun having Whitney here. Thanks Whit for all the help and for keeping me company for all the driving.

11 Months

Her cheesy smile

Doesn't she look innocent?

I can't believe our little baby isn't our little baby anymore. Kabree is our little, busy, mischievous, happy girl. We had about three weeks of sickness this last month, colds, ear infections and the flu but even when she didn't feel good she would still look up at me and smile. Kabree is still very BUSY, which you just have to see her in action to truly appreciate. We now have two little bottom teeth but still none on the top. She has started refusing to eat baby food and only wants to eat exactly what I'm eating. She loves to dance, when ever she hears music (especially the theme song to Friends) she starts bouncing up and down and when she gets really excited she stands up and jams out with her whole body.
When ever she gets into things she isn't supposed to she looks right at you, grins from ear to ear and does it again. She loves remotes and cell phones but is smart enough to know if they are ones that actually work and gets very upset when she realizes you tried to pull a fast one on her by giving her an old one. She loves her kitty and will crawl after her a hundred miles an hour even though Daisy is hissing and growling at her. She has already figured out that she doesn't have claws and she smiles when ever the cat swats at her and swats right back at Daisy until the cat runs away. She loves having people come over and gets very upset if they forget to wave good bye before they leave. Kabree loves her Daddy, she gets very excited when she hears him come in the door. She loves her Dad for play time but if she's hurt or tired she's a Mommas girl. I love that I get to have her when she's a cuddle bug. We love her so much and are so grateful for how much Kabree has brightened our lives. We love you Kabs!

10 Months

I cannot believe our little girl is already 10 months old. At her last check up she was 16.9lbs and 27 inches long, so she's growing, just a little on the small side ; )! Kabree gets busier every day. She got her second tooth this last month. She has learned to wave hello and good bye, claps her hands and sort of says Dada and Mom. I don't really think she knows what she's saying but we think will count it anyways : )!

Kabree still loves bath time and crawls as fast as she can down the hall when she hears the tub -running. She loves having books read to her and her favorite is pat-a-cake, she loves clapping her hands along with you. She hates having her shoes and head bands on but I still attempt them everyday with the hopes that one day they will make it at least an hour.
For those who have never seen our daughter in person, she literally never sits still. The closest she might come is sitting on her bum bouncing up and down. She is a very active VERY busy baby. Which makes taking pictures interesting, they either turn out blurry or she is trying to grab the camera. She gets very excited when she hears someone knock on the door, she hurries over to the gate and bounces up and down until I open the door. Kabree loves her cousins and is all smiles when ever she is around any of them.

We love Kabree so much and couldn't imagine our lives without her. Even though some days she completely wears me out I wouldn't change anything about her. I love the busy, full of personality little girl she is.

Fun In The Snow

Our sledding hill
Zach and Jessi
Ethan and Chase
Shay and Libby
Whitney and Wendy
Heather
Hank followed the snowmobiles the whole way,
Troy snowboarding for the first time
Kabree with her Grandpa Vance
Cayleb letting Kabree play with his milk
(Cayleb is one of Kabree's favorite people)

Troy and Wendy came down for a visit so Heather and I loaded up our little families and headed out to Dad and Mom's too. It was crazy as always when it comes to my family but a lot of fun. Larin and Jessica were out of town this last weekend for her brothers mission farewell so they weren't there but they got to have fun with their cousins on their Mom's side.

JT and Cayleb

Friday we all just kind of hung out, Zach and Cayleb pulled each other around on the snow board with the snowmobile for awhile and the guys went on a short night ride but that was it for Friday. Heather and I let Kabree and Justice bath together (we don't usually because Kabree gets a little overly excited when she has a friend in the tub : ) Kabree loved Grandma's toys so much she wouldn't even look at the camera but Justice was all smiles as always. We had Shay try to talk to Kabree to get her to look up and then she got all excited and tried climbing out of the tub. Like I said Kabree gets very excited to have her cousins to play with. Shawn was brave and took all the younger kids to his house to spend the night in their loft. He put their tent up in it so the kids think that's the best thing ever! We thought that would make for a great nights sleep, however Justice and Kabree had other ideas. They were both up all night.

Are those the craziest grins you've ever seen?

Our escapee

Justice, happy as always

Saturday the kids played in the snow ALL day, including the teenage boys. We didn't head up to the hill to go sledding until 4. Troy tried snowboarding for the first time, he did pretty good for his first time but there was a ton of powder where we were. It was kind of hard to sled down. We got the snowmobiles stuck multiple times. It was a lot of fun though, Whit had a amazing she's alive moment when she decided to ride her snow board down the hill, which you fly down and have no way to stop because your sitting on a snow board. She flipped and her head landed in the snow and no kidding her body flipped over with her head stuck in the snow and spoken just like her Dad she jumps up and starts yelling "my board, grab my board I don't want it scratched"
A few of our favorite moments from this weekend. I glance into the leaving room and catch Dad watching TV and bouncing a baby doll on his knee. I asked him if he realized he had a doll and not one of the grandkids and he looked all embarrassed and explained that Hanna had asked him to bounce her doll while she ran an errand : ), he's such a good Grandpa!

Heather bought a veggie tray and the cauliflower was bad in it so they put it in a zip lock to throw it away so the smell couldn't get out. Well, Shawn has a very sensitive gag reflex so Troy and Heather saw an opportunity. Shawn got sick which had Troy and Heather on the ground rolling with laughter, but that wasn't enough so they tried shoving it under the door and then Heather unlocked the door so they could get him again.
